Implementation Teams

Implementation Teams – Seven Implementation Teams have been organized. Specific Strategic Plan Goals and Objectives have been assigned to each team and are listed accordingly.

Team #1 – Expansive Educational Programming

    Goal 1: We will provide educational programming that prepares all students to meet and exceed standards

    Objective 1.1 - No later than 2006, the delivery of the curriculum will include at least 5-10% creative, non-traditional learning experiences.
    Objective 1.3 - By 2005, the educational program will be enhanced to include expansive educational opportunities for students of all abilities to realize their potential.

Team #2 – Academic Intervention Programs

    Goal 1: We will provide educational programming that prepares all students to meet and exceed standards
    Objective 1.2 - By 2006, we will require K-3 intervention programs and means to support students until they meet benchmark proficiency levels.

Team #3 – Civic Responsibilities

    Goal 1: We will provide educational programming that prepares all students to meet and exceed standards
    Objective 1.4 – By 2006, implement a K-12 curriculum based on the civic responsibility standards

    Goal 6: We will set standards other districts will follow.
    Objective 6.3 - By 2003, develop civic responsibility standards for all students

Team #4 – K-12 Academic Benchmarks

    Goal 6: We will set standards other districts will follow
    Objective 6.2 - By 2005, establish academic benchmark proficiency levels for grades K-12

Team #5 – Comprehensive Assessment Program

    Goal 5: We will establish a comprehensive annual assessment program
    Objective 5.1 - By June 2004, measure and compare from year to year each student’s level of achievement
    Objective 5.2 - By June 2006, implement a comprehensive standards-based assessment program to measure and compare each student’s level of achievement from year to year.

Team #6 – Employee Continuous Improvement Program

    Goal 5: We will establish a comprehensive annual assessment program
    Objective 5.3 - By June 2005, develop a Continuous Improvement Program to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the East Penn School District administrative, teaching, and support staff focused on enhancing the educational experience of each student.

Team #7 – Career Awareness

    Goal 1: We will provide educational programming that prepares all students to meet and exceed standards
    Objective 1.5 - Through 2003, continue to support the development of the career awareness program to prepare students to meet the challenge of the future.
