| EHS Facts Emmaus High School , built in 1955 and fully renovated, is a four year comprehensive high school. Students enrolled in trade or technical courses complete their academic work at Emmaus High School and their laboratory work at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute. There are 2,548 students enrolled in grades nine through twelve. Students can participate in over 35 different organizations and 21 interscholastic sports at the AAAA/AAA level of competition. The current senior class has 599 students. Our Community The East Penn School District includes the boroughs of Emmaus, Macungie and Alburtis as well as the Lower Macungie and Upper Milford Townships. The student population of the district is approximately 7,390 students. 518 professionals are employed as teachers and administrators. There are eight elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school in the East Penn School District. Accreditation Emmaus High School is accredited by the Commission of Secondary Schools, Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, and the Department of Education of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. |
