CAMPBELL WINS DISTRICT XI CROSS COUNTRY GOLD
On Thursday, October 27th Sr. Cole Campbell plowed through the mud and rain at the Bethlehem Municipal Executive Golf Course to win the 2011 District XI 3A Boys Cross Country Gold Medal. Joining Cole on the award stand was Sr. Jason Graybill who placed 7th. Campbell and Graybill will be joined by So. Katie Carney and Fr. Sophie Trowbridge at the PIAA Championships this Saturday, November 5th at the Hershey Parkview Cross Country Course.

Sr. DE Derek Oswald runs down Allen FB Justin Duarte during the Hornets 56-6 Homecoming win over the Canaries. The victory improved the Green and Gold's record to 4-4, with games at Dieruff (10/28/11) and home v CCHS (11/04/11) remaining on the regular season schedule.

Congratulations to the following athletes who earned LVC All-Conference honors: Field Hockey (Caitlin Bryan, Allison Mikelson, Meg Mitchell and Lena Phillips; Football (Cody Laubach); Golf (Kyle Wambold, Grant Shoemaker, Gabby Weiss), Boys Soccer (Kevin Fine and Patrick Groh); Girls Volleyball (Lisa Wallitsch). Additional athletes will be added as all-star teams are selected.

Sr. Gabby Nissiotis gets congratulations from teammates after her goal in the Hornets 11-0 win over CCHS. The victory earned Sue Butz-Stavin's club another perfect LVC record (14-0) and Western Division championship. The Hornets end the regular season with a home game this Friday (10/14) against Upper Perk at 600/730pm before finishing at North Penn on Saturday (10/15) at 330(V)/430pm (JV).

Sr. Allie Mikelson splits 2 defenders during the Hornets 7-1 victory over previously undefeated Owen J. Roberts.
THE BECAHI GAME

Sr. TB Khaleel Artis had a career day, scoring 4 TD's and amassing 240 yds on the ground as the Hornets rolled up over 500 total yards of offense and cruised to an easy 49-14 rout of Becahi, ruining the Golden Hawks homecoming. Artis came into the game as the LVC's 3rd leading rusher and after scores of 1, 12, 62, and 6 yds, left with 669 yds rushing for the season, good enough for 1st place. Also having a career day was Jr. QB Andrew Kerson and Jr. WR Andrew Brown. Kerson completed 11-17 passes for 215 yds and 2 TD's, both of which went for 68 and 21 yds to Brown, who finished with 7 receptions for 161 yds.
Sr. DT Bryan Auvil and Jr. DE Micah Fick blitz during the Hornets 49-14 victory over the Golden Hawks.
