The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires each school district to prepare and submit a "Strategic Plan" as part of its long range plan. The plan is designed to cover a span of six years. East Penn's last Strategic Plan was developed in 2001-02 and covered the years from 2002 through 2008. In the winter of 2008, work was begun on a new Strategic Plan designed to span the years from 2008-14. A steering committee met during the winter and spring of 2008 and developed a "Vision Statement," a "Mission Statement," Belief Statements" and a set of "Goals", "Objectives", and "Strategies". The Vision, Mission, and Belief Statements were approved by the Board of School Directors on July 14, 2008. To download a copy of the plan, click here. The public review was held from 7/25/08 - 08/25/08. |
