The Emmaus High School Drama Department will present Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street School Edition on March 18th and 19th at 8:00 PM and March 20th at 2:00 and 8:00 PM in the
Beginning February 1st, tickets may be purchased in the EHS Main Office from 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday when school is in session. Telephone orders will not be taken through the main office this year. Complimentary tickets for Senior Gold Card holders will be available for the matinee performance only. Gold Card members must present East Penn School District Gold Cards in the EHS main office in order to obtain complimentary tickets prior to the performance, as seating is limited. A school edition of the 1979 Tony Award winning musical by Stephen Sondheim, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is set in England during the Industrial Revolution. It is a cautionary tale of the demon barber, who together with his accomplice Mrs. Lovett, seeks revenge for his wrongful imprisonment and separation from his wife and daughter. This musical contains dark humor and may not be appropriate for young children.
