There are numerous options for anyone serious about getting extra help in chemistry. These include the following: 1) Myself I am available every morning at 6:45 AM in room 411 (unless otherwise notified). 2) The Science Help Room Please see list attached to the door in my room. It lists days and periiods when various chemistry teachers are available for chemistry help. Ask your teacher for a pass. 3) Mrs. Hertzog's Student Tutor List This is a list of student's who have received an A or a high B in my chemistry class and when asked were willing to offer time to tutor their fellow peers. This program is totally optional on their part. They are giving freely of their study halls to help you. If they have to cancel for any reason that is their option, because it is their study hall to do with as they wish. On this list I have listed the tutor's name, day and period that they are free. As you require a tutor, refer to this list and choose a tutor whom you have a free period in common with. See me the day prior to the day that you wish to be tutored, and I will give you a pass to the tutor room so that the tutoring may occur. If you ask to be tutored, please have the courtsey to show for your scheduled tutoring session. You may choose to be tutored on a weekly basis or whenever you feel it is necessary. Please see me for a list of tutors. 4) Tutor Room Sign up for a tutor in any subject by simply seeing your guidance counselor. You will be assgined a teacher or student (honor society student) tutor which has a free period in common with you. 5) Chemistry II A.P. or Honors Student Please see me. 6) Private Tutor Refer to the telephone book for a learning center which may have chemistry tutors. 7) Computer, Lecture, Tutorial, and Problem Solving Help Here are three chemistry help sites that you may wish to visit if you are experiencing difficulty in a certain topic in chemistry class:
