Homework Assignments

1) Syllabus

Assignments will be made from the syllabus and will be posted daily on this internet site (please see number 3 on this page). The homework is due the following day unless otherwise noted. Absolutely NO late homework will be accepted!!!

2) Lab Reports

All lab reports will include the following:

a) Page 1: title and purpose

b) Page 2: data

c) Page 3: calculations

d) Page 4: conclusions

All lab reports will be given 2 days to be submitted (unless otherwise indicated). For each day late, 2 points will be subtracted from your lab report grade (weekends count)!  If a lab is due on Friday and it is not handed in until Monday, six points will be subtracted from your lab report grade. Also, one point will be lost if the lab is turned in later on the same day it is due. For each day that a lab report is handed in early you will receive 2 extra credit points (including weekends)!

Period 3

1)  Student information sheet due M (9/12).

2)  Homework pass ws due M (9/12).

3)  Course requirement ws due M (9/12).

4)  Quiz on lab equipment on W (9/14).  Spelling counts!

5)  HW - Safety poster due M (9/19).  Rubric must be stappled to the back of the poster.  Name, date, period, and safety rule number must be visible on the back of the poster.

Period 4
