Welcome to 8th Grade Science! This year you will focus your science mind on the following four topics--Meteorology, Astronomy, Geology and Water. There will be many opportunities to learn and experiment with the earth sciences. I look forward to a great year with you.

- in your seat
- materials with you
- examine homework board
- any prepared homework ready to go!
**no gum or candy allowed in the science lab
**daily materials include text book, notebook, pen or pencil, grade record sheet and assignment book
**must check what you missed if you were absent
**only one person has "the floor" at a time--raise your hand to request it
**bring a positive attitude and a desire to learn something new about science to class every day!!!!
