Welcome to ESL at EHS and Eyer. Here we teach, refine, and expand English language skills to/with 19 students from all over the world. At EHS we have students represetning 10 counties and 10 different languages. English language learners come from Brazil, Syria, China, Inida, Germany, Poland, Vietnam, Liberia, the Domincian Republic, Peru, and Guatmela. They are speaking Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Malayam, German, Polish, Vietnamese, Krahn, Spanish, and Gujarati. At Eyer we currently have 2 students who are from Romania and Korea and speak Romanian and Korean respectively. Sudents range in ability to those just beginning their leap into English to those ready to fully exit the ESL program and funcion fully within the school system independently.
