Margaret Peterson Haddix

Bigography:
Margaret Peterson Haddix was born in Ohio in 1964. She grew up as a daughter to a farming father, and her mother worked as a nurse. In her childhood her father was always telling margaret and her sibblings stories. He told stories about his own past and he also just told stories about fairies, princesses and princes. Later on, when Margaret was growing up, she wanted to tell stories too. She wanted to be able to tell stories just like her father's, but she didn't just want to tell them, she wanted to write them down.
Insperations:
Margaret was mostly inspired from her love for stories, and her childhood stories her dad always told her as she was growing up. She didn't have many more insperations growing up besides the stories, and her love of them.
Genre of Books:
Margaret loves reading and writing, and studied real, immaginary, journalism, creative writing, and she also studied history because she liked history a lot in college. She usually writes fiction because of those subjects she studied in college.
Interresting facts:
After Margaret finished with college, she didn't find a job right away for writing books. She first started as a copy editor for newspapers in Fort Wayne. After that job, she was a reporter in Indianapolis. After that job she started writing childrens books, and then just kept going after that.
