Welcome to our mobile learning community…
The East Penn School District has launched a BYOD pilot program, for our school community, during the 2013 – 2014 school year.
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is a program in which students are allowed to bring in their own computing device to school and use it for educational purposes. During this pilot, student devices will be allowed in “identified” classrooms from 1st – 12th grade. Identified classrooms are classes that are being facilitated by BYOD piloting teachers. As the East Penn School District pilots BYOD, we will strive to provide families with pertinent information regarding the initiative. Through continued feedback and communication, we hope to build the skills and knowledge in our community needed to address any challenges associated with the program.
