Walking Update
February 22, 2013

Dear Parents:

I am writing to provide an update on the ongoing work of the East Penn School District in preparing for the transportation changes for Willow Lane Elementary.

I encourage you to visit the district website at www.eastpennsd.org to review several important documents.  In particular, the Willow Lane Walkability Study and the EPSD Transportation Study (that was presented at the East Penn School Board meeting on February 11, 2013) are available on the district website.

From February 25, 2013 through March 4, 2013, a second transportation survey will be available on the Willow Lane Elementary School website.   We encourage parents to complete this survey, so that we can gather additional information regarding elimination of bus transportation for some Willow Lane students.  The survey will also provide you with the opportunity to express your interest in serving on a parent committee to plan for the implementation of transportation changes.

If you have questions, please contact me at Willow Lane Elementary at 484-519-3300.

Sincerely,
Dr. Anthony Moyer
