Hello Alburtis Parents and Students,
The 2019-2020 school year has certainly been filled with some pretty incredible memories! We started our year together enjoying events and activities such as Meet the Teacher, Eagle Assemblies, Fire Safety activities, Phantoms Hockey events, Singing on the ice for opening night, Veteran’s Day, School spirit days, Alburtis Reading Challenge, Reading Adventure night and so much more. We currently find ourselves in a brand new, very unusual, and certainly memorable yet challenging situation as our schools closed on March 13 due to COVID 19. To our great surprise we received notification that our schools would unfortunately remain closed throughout the end of this current school year…but we continue to make wonderful online memories together. This year will be a year that we all remember. We would like to memorialize this year as we do every year through an Alburtis Elementary School yearbook. As you can appreciate we will all look back at the pages of this year’s yearbook and reflect on the successes, celebrations, challenges and ultimately the memories that we have made together as an Alburtis Family!
Since we are all following social distancing guidelines and abiding by the Governor’s stay at home order, all yearbook sales will take place online. To order a yearbook please click the following link: https://yearbooks.danscamera.com/find_school.asp?
Type Alburtis in the search bar and select Alburtis Yearbook 2020.
Please follow the prompts to order your child’s 2019-2020 yearbook. We are very excited to be able to offer a yearbook at a slightly reduced cost this year. Books will sell for $18.00. Online orders open today, Monday, April 27 and will close on Wednesday, May 20.
Note: We will be scheduling summer distribution dates for the yearbooks throughout the summer as the stay at home restrictions are safely lifted.
Parents, I am sure that many of you have photos of your student(s) from August through today. I encourage you to email those photos to me at email@example.com. The more photos we have the richer the memories will be in the pages of the yearbook! I am hoping to receive some at home schooling pictures that you have taken since our closure on March 13. We will have a special spread on ‘Learning from home.’
As always, thank you so very much for supporting your student(s), our school, and our community!
Stay safe! Stay healthy!
