This morning, there was an anonymous threat made to tonight’s Emmaus Football game. Our administration is working with local law enforcement to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families. Out of an abundance of caution, the East Penn School District has made the decision to limit the spectators able to attend tonight’s game. At this time, only participating student athletes, students and staff affiliated with the game, and approved media and tv/radio stations will be in attendance. Our sports facilities will be secured by local law enforcement and all approved attendees will be searched by school administrators before entering the stadium. Unfortunately, family and fans will not be allowed to attend tonight’s game. The game will be live streamed and televised for viewing. The EHS Tailgate and Homecoming festivities are postponed until Friday, October 22, 2021. We understand that this is disappointing news to our spectators, but the safety of our students and school community is always our top priority.
