Meet Cori Campbell, a 4th grade student at Willow Lane Elementary in Macungie. She chose to act on kindness, not in a small way but rather in a slimey way. Cori is the founder and primary operator of the business, Slime Time. She created several varieties of slime, a product that is currently very popular with children. Besides basic slime, she offered specialty slimes such as diamond slime and variety packs including the Rainbow Pack and the Beach Pack.
Cori debuted her business at the Willow Lane Elementary Open House. Along with creating the product, Cori also ran her stand, interacting with customers and handling financial transactions. At the end of the night, she had nearly sold out of product.
Cori has both an entrepreneurial spirit and a generous heart. She donated $200 dollars of the profits to local animal shelter, Sanctuary at Haafsville. The furry residents of the Sanctuary at Haafsville are very grateful for this kind-hearted young woman.
