The Emmaus High School Pediatric Cancer Club will be hosting their 6th St. Baldrick’s Shave for the Brave event on March 8, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Emmaus High School. This incredible Shave for the Brave event unites us as a community through students, faculty, and community members bravely shaving off their hair to raise vital funds for cancer care. Many “shavees” choose to shave their heads in memory or in support of a loved one who has experienced cancer.
In 2017, the EHS Shave for the Brave event earned almost $80K to go towards pediatric cancer research. On this date, there were 25 national events and the Emmaus Shave for the Brave landed as the SECOND top fundraiser, surpassing our goal of $66,000!
2010 – $24,567
2011 – $39,921
2013 – $49,057
2015 – $65,831
2017 – $78,071
How can YOU help us in our efforts to contribute more than $257,447 towards lifesaving research!? You can donate money to pediatric cancer research by sponsoring a “shavee” or even becoming one YOURSELF. You can solicit donations of themed baskets, electronics, gift certificates, or sporting event tickets for raffle/auction at the event. You can also SHAVE, collect donations, recruit certified barbers or volunteer by creating teams on the website and collecting money around the community.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Liz Del Re at 610.931.2498 or EDelRe@eastpennsd.org.
Thank you for helping us reach our goals! We look forward to you joining our event in March to show support and celebrate life!
