Each year, the PA Division of Federal Programs honors the top performing Title I schools in Pennsylvania. This year, they used the approved ESEA Flexibility Waiver designation of Reward: High Achievement and Reward: High Progress.
- High Achievement Schools are the highest 5% of Title I schools based on English Language Arts (ELA) and Math PSSA proficiency that met all four Annual Measurable Objectives (AMOs).
- High Progress Schools are the highest 5% of Title I Schools based on ELA and Math Pennsylvania Value-Added Assessment System, (PVAAS) growth that met all four AMOs.
The Division of Federal Programs has selected 158 Title I schools to be named Distinguished Schools based on the above mentioned criterion. Using this criterion, Lincoln Elementary School has been selected to be a Title I Distinguished School in the 2018-2019 school year.
