On Saturday, June 8th, Shoemaker Elementary 5th Grade Art Club students finished their summer movie mural project at the AMC Movie Theater at the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley. The movies that the students showcased this spring were The Lion King, Spiderman: Far From Home, and Toy Story 4.
This talented group of 25 students also included a 3rd grader, three 4th graders, and three Emmaus High School students who were former Shoemaker students. In a total team effort, they completed the mural in 4 hours and are so excited that the mural will be on display for the entire summer for the entire Lehigh Valley community to see! A special thanks to the AMC managers and their staff for allowing Shoemaker to partner with them for over 10 years on these fantastic murals!
