This message was sent out to parents via our E-Blast system today:
Due to challenges associated with building our schedule for the first time in PowerSchool (our new student information management system) we have made adjustments to our summer student course verification process. Typically, in late June or early July, students receive a list of their scheduled courses for the upcoming school year to verify and make last-minute course change requests. Instead of sending this course list, we will mail students’ full tentative schedules on or around July 29th. Parents and students will have time to review the schedule and request changes. Students’ finalized schedules will then be available prior to the start of school in August. We apologize for the delay, and appreciate your patience as we adjust to this new system.
Additionally, as we head into the second half of summer break, please take a moment to review summer assignments with your child. If they are not sure about their assignments, or did not receive this information from their previous teacher, they are posted on our high school website under “Quick Links”.
As always, please reach out to your child’s school counselor or assistant principal if you have any questions.
