Emmaus High School is taking part in the 2021 Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS) on Wednesday, November 17th during advisory. PAYS is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. The survey will ask questions about the behaviors of students in the 10th and 12th grades, including questions about school climate, violence, depression, bullying, and substance abuse. Building-level results are shared with us afterward, and are used at the local and county level to identify areas of need, provide programs, and supports based on those needs. The survey is anonymous and completely voluntary for students.
For more information, please review the Parent/Guardian Letter, the PAYS FAQ Sheet, and the PAYS Question Form Link. If you have additional questions, concerns, or would like your child to opt out, please contact Mr. Jake Beitler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
