This year, we have 3 sophomores who will attend the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY). These students are: Julia Marks, Grace Comfort and Alexia Stephanides. They will be attending a weekend-long leadership seminar at Albright College in June. We hope they return empowered to become leaders in both our local and global community!
According to HOBY.org, the mission is to, “Inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation.” The students chosen to represent Emmaus High School will expand their knowledge base while exhibiting the five core values: volunteerism, integrity, excellence, diversity and community partnership. We are so excited for these students to experience this fabulous opportunity and make connections across the state! We truly believe the HOBY experience will motivate and influence their future; in turn, helping them become the best version of themselves. Congratulations again, ladies!
