There will be no graduation practice this year. Students will receive instructions along with their caps and gowns on June 10th or June 11th.

MATERIALS RETURN AND CAP/GOWN/ DIPLOMA DISTRIBUTION
On June 10th and 11th, seniors will return district materials and receive their caps, gowns, diplomas, and additional graduation information. Please make sure to bring all school materials, including books, equipment, and especially your Chromebook and charger with you to return. If you have lost your charger, please bring an authorized HP charger or cash or check in the amount of $40 with you.
Please come to the main high school gym at the time listed below. Park in the senior parking lot and use the sports center entrance to enter the building. The schedule is set by the first letter of your last name.

You will not be able to receive a cap and gown until all unsettled obligations have been resolved. Graduation gowns do not need to be returned and are yours as a personal memento of this special day. You will receive the portfolio for your diploma when you walk across the stage on graduation day. Students who are not participating in the graduation ceremony in person may pick up their diploma portfolio at the EHS main office during the week of 6/14.
Saturday, June 12
Baccalaureate will be pre-recorded and released at 9:00am to view. The link and program will be sent out via the Class of 2021 Schoology page and through email to parent/guardian addresses.
Sunday, June 13
Students will be assigned to an arrival time for a security check and COVID screening. You are only permitted to bring car keys and a cell phone. Caps, gowns and masks are required for all graduates. Please wear the 2021 graduation mask that will be provided with your cap and gown. Caps may not be decorated.
Only National Honor Society stoles, honor grad medals and/or military stoles may be worn with your gown. Students are expected to dress appropriately for the ceremony. Please do not wear jeans, sneakers, flip flops, or other casual attire. We understand that you may prefer not to attend in person and watch the live streamed ceremony instead. GRADUATION TICKETS – Ticketing will be handled electronically by the PPL Center one week prior to graduation. Each graduate will receive 6 tickets sent to them by PPL to their East Penn email account. The email from PPL staff will include the tickets, protocols, policies, procedures, and entrance information. Seats will be assigned in pods and the tickets may not be exchanged or given to other graduates to use. Every individual, regardless of age, will be required to have a ticket upon entry. Masks must be worn at all times. Please note that the pods will not be six feet apart. If you feel uncomfortable with the seating arrangements, you are welcome to view the live streamed ceremony at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5wNl1rbVUKXkKmLGuJ9DOw/videos (To keep in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, this internet based program will have captions when the video is processed and published on YouTube within one day.)
SEATING AT GRADUATION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES/WHEELCHAIRS. – Upon arrival at the PPL Center, please locate a PPL staff usher. They will guide you to the section. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.
ACCOMODATIONS FOR THOSE WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS – Please contact the Student Activities Office @ 610-965-1670 if you or a person in your group is hearing impaired and in need of a sign language interpreter. (To keep in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, this internet based program will have captions when the video is processed and published on YouTube within one day.)
SENIOR BALL – The Senior Ball will be held in Friday, June 11 from 5:30-9:30 at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem. For more information please contact your class advisors Mrs. Murray at email@example.com or Mrs. Ardito at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware that all school rules are in effect at Senior Ball, including those in the discipline code and the EPSD Health and Safety Plan. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in immediate dismissal from the event without a refund. Students who commit serious violations of the discipline code at Senior Ball or in the last weeks of school may not be permitted to participate in person in the graduation ceremony.

PHOTOGRAPHS – Photographers from Christmas City Studio will be at the EHS commencement ceremony to photograph each graduate during their special moment of recognition. Within 5 days of the ceremony, every parent/guardian of a graduate will receive an email with instructions to view their images, and to place an order if they’d like. Orders will be mailed directly home. If you have questions about your image and it’s been more than 5 days since the ceremony, call 610-691-2109 or email email@example.com. Anyone wishing not to be photographed must contact the Student Activities Office in advance of the ceremony at 610-965-1670.
