Welcome Back! This information is for seniors with late arrival and/or early dismissal, as well as juniors with early dismissal listed on their schedules. Students who have a late arrival or an early dismissal for the upcoming school year are to adhere to the schedule listed below until the privilege has been officially approved through the submission of the Late Arrival or Early Dismissal Privilege Form:
- On Monday, August 26th, seniors with a late arrival must report to Emmaus High School by 7:23 a.m., go to their assigned homerooms, and then proceed to Café. 1 for 1st period. Juniors and seniors with an early dismissal will report to Café. 1 for 9th period and will be dismissed at 10:15 a.m.
- On Tuesday, August 27th and Wednesday, August 28th, seniors with a late arrival will report to Café. 2 at the beginning of 1st period to attend a mandatory meeting with their Grade Level Principal on the guidelines of the Late Arrival Privilege. At the beginning of 9th period, seniors with an early dismissal will report to Café. 1 and juniors with an early dismissal will report to Café. 2 to attend a mandatory meeting on the guidelines of the Early Dismissal Privilege with their Grade Level Principal. At the meetings, students will obtain the Late Arrival or Early Dismissal Privilege Card, which must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian.
- Beginning Thursday, August 29th, students with late arrival and early dismissal on their schedule must report to Café. 1 for the remainder of the six-day cycle until the Late Arrival or Early Dismissal Privilege Form has been submitted at their respective Grade Level Office. The forms must be submitted by Wednesday, September 4th. If the forms are not submitted by that date, the late arrival or early dismissal privilege will be converted to a study hall.
- Should students wish to convert their late arrival and/or early dismissal privilege to a study hall, they are to contact their school counselor at their earliest convenience.
Students with late arrival or early dismissal must attend the mandatory meetings in order to learn about the guidelines and obtain the Late Arrival or Early Dismissal Privilege Card. This privilege may not be granted to students who do not adhere to the schedule provided above.
