The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires students to meet certain requirements regarding physicals and vaccinations at various points in their school career for attendance in all Pennsylvania schools.
Please ensure that your child’s required vaccinations are up to date. Per the Department of Health, the provisional period in which students can attend school without their required vaccinations is five days. The regulation set forth by the Department of Health is intended to ensure that students in all Pennsylvania schools are adequately protected against potential outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases. For the 2019-2020 school year, the immunization requirement must be met or an immunization plan must be communicated to the Health Office by Tuesday, September 3rd. State law requires that we exclude students with outstanding immunization requirements from attending school beginning on Wednesday, September 4th, until the Health Office receives notification regarding either a pending immunization plan or that the immunization requirement has been met. You may fax all updated immunization paperwork to the Health Office at 610-966-8449.
