The 2017-2018 Student Parking Application is now available online beginning Friday, August 4th. Only SENIOR students will be issued an EHS permit to park on school property. Underclassmen are ineligible. In addition, senior students who did not fulfill their disciplinary and/or financial obligations will not be eligible for a parking permit until all obligations have been met.
Only vehicles with EHS parking permits are allowed to park on school property in the designated student parking lots. The designated student parking lots are Lot I near the football field and the large parking lot on North Street across from the high school. Failure to obey the following regulations listed below or falsifying any information may result in the loss of parking privileges, ticketing by the Emmaus Police Department or towing at the owner’s expense and additional disciplinary actions may be enforced, as prescribed in the Emmaus High School Discipline Code:
- Parking in unauthorized areas on school property, such as district personnel designated lots (restricted red permit zones), faculty/staff designated lots and spots designated for the handicapped, reserved spots or visitors spots.
- Parking on school property without an approved EHS parking permit designated for the current school year.
- Parking on school property with an unregistered vehicle.
- The loss of scheduled late arrival and/or early dismissal privileges in addition to the loss of parking privileges may occur after a student’s 11th unauthorized late to school.
Students who are eligible to apply should go to the Emmaus High School homepage, where you will find and click on the link for the student parking application. You will be asked for your sign on using your East Penn School District email and password. Log on and fill out the form “EHS Senior Parking Application 2017-2018.” Upon completion of the application, click Submit at the bottom of the page. Then, monitor the email address you entered in your application for an email titled “Senior Parking Permit Distribution.” This email will give you more information on how, when, and where you will be receiving your parking permit. Follow the directions outlined in that email in order to obtain your parking permit. Upon receiving your parking permit, display it on the rearview mirror in your car at all times while parking in the appropriate assigned student lots on school property.
If you have any questions throughout the process, please contact Ms. Rodriguez, Assistant Principal for the Class of 2018.
