The school counseling office holds multiple events throughout the year to assist students and their families as well as to provide them with needed information to navigate through EHS and for life after graduation. During this program, our region\u2019s Higher Education Access Partner from PHEAA, Evelyn Disla-Hernandez presented to families regarding Financial Aid. She provided us with the PowerPoint used in her presentation that can be found here: Ms. Disla-Hernandez’s Presentation on Financial Aid <\/a>. In our second session of the night, families had the opportunity to attend a live demonstration Introduction to Naviance for families of 9th and 10th grade students or a Naviance presentation for parents of 11th and 12th grade students on the college and career research tools in Naviance and the college application process for EHS. The presentation from the 11th and 12th grade family session can be found here: 25-26 11th & 12th Grade Family Naviance Presentation.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n This Family Welcome Night for current 8th grade students and their families\/guardians is intended to provide eighth grade students and their parents with information that will help ease the transition from middle school to high school. This event is specifically for current 8th grade students and families that are hoping to learn more about Emmaus High School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Please follow this link to view a recording of the presentation from our 9th grade counselors from the 2023-2024 school year: 2024 8th-9th Grade Family Welcome Night Recording<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n We also have information regarding Communities in Schools<\/a> and SAP<\/a>, as well as a 9th Grade Podcast<\/a> episode discussing EHS Clubs & Activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The EHS School Counselors host a FAFSA completion night with Financial Aid experts. Students and their families must<\/span> have acquired their FSA ID<\/strong> (studentaid.gov) account prior to this event in order to have the ability to complete the FAFSA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our College Fair is held annually. All students and parents are welcome to attend and interact with over 125 representatives from colleges, military branches, trade unions, and technical schools.
