Create structure<\/h3>

<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Organization:<\/strong> Help your child get organized and stay focused by breaking down homework into smaller chunks and creating a timeline. You can also try using a timer to divide homework into timed segments.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Use a Calendar\/Planner:<\/strong> Use of a calendar or planner will allow student to keep assignments and due dates organized.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Limit distractions:<\/strong> Try to create a positive study environment away from phone, TV, Video games, electronics.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Encourage:<\/strong> Be empathetic and positive. You can ask about their assignments, check their completed work, and make yourself available for questions. Encourage them to: Be in School, Be Prepared, Take Notes, Ask For help<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
