Mr. Rodd Luckenbill<\/h2>

Assistant Principal for Grades 9-12<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Rodd C. Luckenbill has been a proud educator for the last 25 years. He comes from a family of educators and is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, serving in both Allentown and Southern Lehigh School District where he taught science, reading, ELA, and social studies to sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. While at Southern Lehigh he earned his Masters degree from Wilkes University in Educational Leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He returned to Allentown School District to serve as the middle school assistant principal\/athletic director at Raub Middle School. Following this, he served in a similar role at Paxon Hollow Middle School where he expanded his experience, focusing on instructional leadership, community involvement and data analysis. He was given the opportunity to return to his hometown to serve as middle school assistant principal at LMMS where he developed the master schedule, facilitated the Success Team which focused on school based activities, community fundraising and building culture. While at LMMS he became a founding member of the EPSD Education Foundation, serving as the administrative cabinet member for five years. In addition, he earned his doctorate through Immaculata University, by completing his dissertation on \u201cMiddle Level Educators\u2019 Perceptions and Knowledge of mTBI and RTL Protocol\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Luckenbill was given the opportunity to collaborate with Willow Lane, Shoemaker, and Wescosville elementary schools for the last year and half as Elementary Student Support Dean, focusing on developing positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, through classroom visitations, data analysis, academic\/ attendance meetings, and classroom SEL based interactive lessons. He is embarking on his 26th year in education beginning his first year as assistant principal at Emmaus High School where he looks forward to continuing building positive relationships, supervising staff, and collaborating with his administrative team to make every day \u201ca great day to be a hornet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
