As a discipline, art embodies a wealth of universal ideas, values, feelings, and technologies that have become a part of our civilization and heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A strong art foundation builds creativity, concentration, problem-solving skills, self-worth, coordination, and self-discipline. A strong art foundation emphasizes art history, aesthetics and criticism.
