Emmaus High School, built in 1955 and fully renovated, is a four year comprehensive high school. Students enrolled in trade or technical courses complete their academic work at Emmaus High School and their laboratory work at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute. There are approximately 2,800 students enrolled in grades nine through twelve. Students can participate in over 60 different organizations and 23 interscholastic sports at the AAAA\/AAA level of competition.<\/p>\n
The East Penn School District includes the boroughs of Emmaus, Macungie and Alburtis as well as the Lower Macungie and Upper Milford Townships. The student population of the district is approximately 8,000 students. Over 500 professionals are employed as teachers and administrators. There are seven elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school in the East Penn School District.<\/p>\n
