Upcoming School Counseling Office Events<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EHS School Counseling Office invites you to our Postsecondary Planning Night on Tuesday, September 22nd, from 6pm-8pm.<\/strong> The night will start with a Financial Aid presentation from our PHEAA representative in the Auditorium from 6-7. After that, the group will split into two Naviance sessions – one for 9th and 10th grade families and the other for 11th and 12th grade families. Please see this flyer for more information. We hope to see you there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EHS School Counseling Office is excited to be hosting several Instant Decision Days<\/strong> this fall. Students can sign up for an Instant Decision Day through the link on the flyer for each school. Students must apply to the college prior to the Instant Decision Day. More information can be found on our flyer, linked here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be hosting a FAFSA Completion Night<\/strong> for families of seniors on October 14th<\/strong> with representatives from PHEAA and LCCC. Participants will need to sign up ahead of time and form will be sent out closer to the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EHS wellness resources and website<\/u><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EHS Counseling Office is pleased to announce that in collaboration with the EHS School Psychologists, Communities in Schools and other departments within the high school, we have put together the EHS Wellness Resources website (linked here)<\/a>.  These resources that can be used by anyone at any time, and will be updated each month based on a topic or theme for that month.  We encourage students, educators and families to utilize this resource and as always, we encourage students to reach out to their school counselor or school psychologist if they are struggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, we created a sheet with talking points and tips for parents<\/a> as well as a COVID-19 related graphic<\/a> that can help to identify signs of struggle along with links to articles as resources for more information and how to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naviance<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The school counseling office is pleased to continue to offer the Naviance system to our students and their families. Naviance is the preferred postsecondary planning resource for EHS school counselors.  We encourage all families to utilize the resources found in Naviance.  Below is a link to access Emmaus High School\u2019s Naviance Student site. Students must log in using the Single Sign-On option and must be logged into their EPSD account to do so.<\/em> Parents must register using a registration code, which can be obtained from your child\u2019s school counselor.  Once registered, parents are able to input an email address and create a password for future use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
