Dual Credit Courses through LCCC<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

LCCC will be here Friday, September 20 and Tuesday, September 24 during Hornet Homeroom in our auditorium.\u00a0 Students enrolled and eligible for dual credit are encouraged to attend one of these sessions to learn how to register with LCCC in order to obtain college credit. More information will be provided in the coming weeks regarding signups to attend as well as how to register.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School Homework Help Starts Soon<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) starting on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.  Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year.  Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late\u00a0Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using\u00a0the\u00a0Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0Google Form<\/a> in Schoology under\u00a0the Materials section<\/strong>\u00a0or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the\u00a0Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0post.\u00a0The\u00a0late\u00a0bus\u00a0will run Tuesdays and Thursdays\u00a0through the end of May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

** Thursdays only<\/u>, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM <\/u>**<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Picture Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS Picture Day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, 2024 in the Auditorium.\u00a0 Students should report to the auditorium at their scheduled time.\u00a0 If you are interested in purchasing pictures, please make sure to complete Christmas City\u2019s online order form.\u00a0 Schedules listing reporting times will be posted in classrooms and on bulletin boards.\u00a0 If you do not wish to purchase pictures, please still have your picture taken for your i.d. card.\u00a0 Seniors, if you need an i.d. card, please have your picture taken as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PSAT<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0PSATs will be offered on October 15th, 2024 beginning at 7:23am. If you would like to sign up for the PSAT, please complete this 2024-25 PSAT Registration Form, which can also be found in your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group, by September 6th. The cost of the PSAT is $18.00. All payments should be dropped off to Mrs. Lucchesi-Wood in Room 272 by September 6th. If you have an IEP and will need accommodations for the PSAT, you must contact your Counselor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
