Student Travel Opportunity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Would you like to visit the Panama Canal and a sloth sanctuary? Or kayak next to a volcano in Costa Rica, zip line through a rainforest and go whitewater rafting? There will be an informational meeting on October 7 at 6:00 PM in room 270\u00a0 for any students, parents or faculty interested in traveling to Panama and Costa Rica in June 2025.\u00a0 If you are unable to attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Hess in Room 270 (jhess@estpennsd.org<\/a>) for more information. Homecoming Tailgate <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tailgate will be held on Friday, October 4th from 2:30-4:30 on the basketball courts. This is a free event for EHS students only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HoCo Dance <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tickets are on sale for $15 during lunches. The dance will be held on Saturday, October 5th from 6-9 in the EHS gym.  Doors open at 5:30. Don\u2019t forget to bring your id. EHS students only. If you aren’t in school during lunches, head to the main office.  Last day of sales is 10\/3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School Store<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EHS School Store is open during HHR and closed Thursdays. Stop by and get Hornet merch and game themed merchandise. This Saturday is BLACKOUT- we have BLACKOUT shirts for $10! Stop by today! Cash or check only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer Travel Opportunity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Are you interested in traveling to Spain and Portugal in the summer of 2026?  The first informational meeting will be on 10\/2\/24 at 6:00 PM in room 016 (Mr. Montepeque).  The second meeting will take place on 10\/10\/24 at the same time and place. Please use door # 7 or 8 by the auditorium to enter the building. Looking forward to seeing anybody interested in this amazing experience abroad<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instant Decision Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hello Seniors, This fall, Emmaus is hosting multiple universities for an Instant Decision Day. An Instant Decision Day, also known as an On-Site Decision Day, is an event where students are able to receive an immediate admissions decision from a college or university. Instant decisions are non-binding, you are still able to apply to other colleges to look at different options! If you are interested in attending one of these events, please click the link on the college or university that you would like to sign up for. You MUST complete the google form that is linked below to the universities as well as submit an application to the university itself. Once you have signed up for one or multiple Instant Decision Days you will receive an email confirmation and more information will be emailed to you as the event date approaches. East Penn Therapy Dog Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The East Penn Therapy Dog Program will again be partnering with the Phantoms on Oct. 12!  This is opening night for the Phantoms; tickets are $22 and $5 from each ticket purchased will go towards the Therapy Dog Program.  Branch, Mario, and Tokyo will be at the game.  Please join us for an East Penn Night at the Phantoms! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASVAB:<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Test will be administered on the morning of October 10, 2024.  The 2024-25 ASVAB Test Registration<\/a> form must be completed by October 4th<\/strong> to be able to sit for the ASVAB. The ASVAB registration form, as well as additional information on the ASVAB can be found in your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School Homework Help <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year.  Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using the Late Bus Google Form<\/a> in Schoology under the Materials section<\/strong> or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

** Thursdays only<\/u>, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM <\/u>**<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
