Student Wellness Group\u00a0Sign Ups:<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Healthy Relationships: <\/em><\/strong>This group will focus on supporting students struggling with relationships (family, friends, acquaintances, and significant others). Students will increase their ability to develop and maintain supportive relationships and communicate effectively. They will learn how to resolve interpersonal conflict and how to cope with socially stressful situations.
Wednesdays 8:30 – 9:15 Starting December 4th; MMR (318)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Study Skills:<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>This group will focus on note-taking strategies, study strategies, planning\/prioritizing, improving focus and time management, stress management, knowing your resources, and the importance of managing situations when they don\u2019t go as planned.
Wednesdays 9:30 – 10:15 Starting December 4th; MMR (318)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teen Issues: <\/em><\/strong>This group will focus on a variety of topics: anxiety management, healthy boundaries, depression, managing emotions, coping mechanism, self-advocacy, social media management, social stressors, etc.

Conflict Resolution:<\/em><\/strong> This group will focus on increasing students’ ability to manage anger effectively, identify sources of anger, resolve conflicts productively, and consider alternative solutions to a problem in order to experience more positive outcomes.

Art for Relaxation:<\/em><\/strong> Students will be provided the needed supplies to create a series of hands-on projects.  The purpose is to guide students through creative art making and provide alternative means to practice stress management. The program is only 4 weeks and open to 10 students; attendance at each session is mandatory.

The Biology Olympiad Study Club<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Biology Olympiad Study Club provides an excellent opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge in biological sciences, offering support for Biology and related subjects like Anatomy, Environmental Science, and more. In this club, students will explore topics beyond what is covered in their regular coursework. Throughout the year, we actively prepare for the highly competitive USA Biology Olympiad (USABO) exam through engaging activities, interactive games, and social gatherings. Meetings take place every other Tuesday after school and every Monday during homeroom in Mr. LaBar\u2019s room (112). Senior Yearbook Portraits – Important Information<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Have you scheduled your senior yearbook and graduation day jumbotron photo session yet? In order to appear in the yearbook, all photos must be taken before December 1.  Photos are taken at the Wesley Works Photography in Emmaus and can be booked online at wesleyworks.com\/seniors<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-studio sessions are available from 9AM to 7PM Monday through Thursday and Friday from 9AM until 3:30PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no charge to have your yearbook\/jumbotron photo taken.  Popular senior portrait sessions are available and can be added at the same time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library.\u00a0 Please visit your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School Homework Help <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year.  Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late\u00a0Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using\u00a0the\u00a0<\/a>Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0Google Form<\/a> in Schoology under\u00a0the Materials section<\/strong>\u00a0or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the\u00a0Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0post.\u00a0The\u00a0late\u00a0bus\u00a0will run Tuesdays and Thursdays\u00a0through the end of May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
