Gingerbread Contest<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Gingerbread Contest on\u00a0Dec 19, 2024\u00a0during hornet homeroom. Teams of up to 6 people can enter. Cost is $30\/team. Entries are due by December 12 and money is due by December 13 to Miss Russo in 229. Prizes will be given to the Most Festive, Most Creative and Best Overall. EHS Red Cross Club<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Did you know that a blood transfusion is needed every two seconds in the U.S.? EHS Red Cross Club is promoting Miller-Keystone Blood Donation Centers. If you donate blood and have proof, come to room 16 (Montepeque) for a bag of candy! Additionally, you\u2019ll get a T-shirt from Miller-Keystone at the donation site.\u00a0 See the fliers posted around the school to scan the QR code for more information.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring Musical Auditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Auditions for EHS\u2019s spring musical, Mamma Mia, will be held in the auditorium from 2:30-6 PM on Thursday, Dec. 12, Friday, Dec. 13, and Monday, Dec. 16.  Audition information and materials are posted in the Theater Department Schoology group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crew applications for Mamma Mia are posted in the Theater Dept Schoology group as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All forms are due to Mrs. Kuebler no later than Monday, Dec. 9th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toiletry Collection<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Student Forum is collecting toiletries for families who unexpectedly need to stay at Lehigh Valley Hospital overnight. Things like travel size shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, and hairbrushes are appreciated. The collection will run until December 10th and items can be dropped off in the Counseling Office. If there are any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to Ms. McKinney or Mrs. Grim in the Counseling Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operation Giggles<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Interact club is proud to announce the start of Operation Giggles\u2019<\/a> winter collection! We are collecting any new or unused toys starting now through December 20th and will be donating them to the Lehigh Valley Riley Children’s Hospital. There will be boxes that you can drop the toys off at by Mrs. Kaunitz\u2019s room 216. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Peyton Kilka (pkilka26@eastpennsd.org<\/a>). Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library.\u00a0 Please visit your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School Store<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EHS School Store is open during HHR and closed Thursdays. Stop by and get Hornet merch and game themed merchandise. Cash or check only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School Homework Help <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year.  Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late\u00a0Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using\u00a0the\u00a0<\/a>Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0Google Form<\/a> in Schoology under\u00a0the Materials section<\/strong>\u00a0or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the\u00a0Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0post.\u00a0The\u00a0late\u00a0bus\u00a0will run Tuesdays and Thursdays\u00a0through the end of May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

** Thursdays only<\/u>, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM <\/u>**<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
