During our student trip to Iceland, we will stroll amid active glaciers, bathe in\u00a0steaming lagoons, visit waterfalls and volcanos, and feel the welcoming warmth of the local people.\u00a0 For more\u00a0information contact <a href=\"mailto:(skinzel@eastpennsd.org\">Mrs Kinzel<\/a> and visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eftours.com\/tour-website\/2678610PW\">tour site\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enrollment deadline is Monday February 24th.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>STEM Trip<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you interested in a STEM trip to London and Paris?\u00a0 The trip will include various science-based tourist locations such as the Royal Observatory at Greenwich, London Science Museum, London Eye, Eiffel Tower, and a day at Disneyland Paris.\u00a0 The trip is scheduled for June 22-July 2 2026.\u00a0 Please contact Mr. Ohl in room 141 with any questions or stop by for an informational flyer about the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Spring Musical<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets for EHS&#8217;s\u00a0Spring Musical,\u00a0<em>Mamma Mia,<\/em>\u00a0are now available on the EHS website.\u00a0 Tickets are $12 for students and senior citizens, and $14 for adults. The show runs April\u00a02-5 at 7PM and April 5 and 6 at 2PM in the EHS auditorium. Get your tickets before we sell out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LCTI<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>LCTI applications are now open for next school year.\u00a0 Please see the purple Scheduling folder in your Schoology &#8220;Class of&#8221; account for more information and the link to the application. If you currently attend LCTI and plan to attend again next year, you do not need to complete a new application for next school year. The deadline for submitting LCTI applications for next year is March 1st.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>KU Early College Academy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thinking about becoming a teacher<\/strong>? Want to make an impact in students&#8217; lives? EHS&#8217;s Field Study program in partnership with Kutztown University\u00a0is offering a unique opportunity for students\u00a0who plan to major in Education in college to get an early start on their coursework. Through the\u00a0<strong>KU Early College Academy<\/strong>\u00a0students can take college level Education courses at the university for college credit and receive EHS Field Study credit at the same time. If you are a current sophomore or junior and would like to learn more about this exciting program, please plan to attend an informational meeting in the\u00a0<strong>MMR<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<strong>Tuesday February 25th<\/strong>\u00a0during\u00a0<strong>Homeroom.<\/strong>\u00a0Kutztown representatives will be on hand to review the program and answer\u00a0questions. EHS Red Cross Club is promoting Miller-Keystone Blood Donation Centers. If you donate blood and have proof, come to room 16 (Montepeque) for a bag of candy! Additionally, you\u2019ll get a T-shirt from Miller-Keystone at the donation site.&nbsp; See the fliers posted around the school to scan the QR code for more information.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donation Site Sponsored by the EHS Red Cross Club:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LVHN Cedar Crest (1255 S. If you are interested in <a href=\"https:\/\/donor.giveapint.org\/donor\/schedules\/center\/2\">donating blood<\/a> at this location, please schedule an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/JprF2q3ZzjNQgG5k6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library.\u00a0 Please visit your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>After School Homework Help <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>EHS is offering free&nbsp;after-school help&nbsp;twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024).&nbsp;Teachers will be available to&nbsp;help&nbsp;with homework, studying for exams, or improving the&nbsp;understanding of course&nbsp;material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in&nbsp;academic performance and overall confidence at school.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their&nbsp;classes for the remainder of the school year.&nbsp; Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Late\u00a0Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sign up online using\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1GZEDqjXEuOtjsdJUpi0EOWztA448_vwz853Du3QnQyQ\/edit\">Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0Google Form<\/a> in Schoology under\u00a0<strong>the Materials section<\/strong>\u00a0or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the\u00a0Late\u00a0Bus\u00a0post.\u00a0The\u00a0late\u00a0bus\u00a0will run Tuesdays and Thursdays\u00a0<strong>through the end of May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.<br>** Thursdays only, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM **<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Clubs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All are most welcome to join in on Global\u00a0Citizens\u00a0meetings. February meetings will be held on Thursday, 2\/20 in room 13 by the Hive. Come join in the fun Learn something new, make a new friend, help to connect to the broad and diverse community around\u00a0you.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Biology Olympiad Study Club meetings take place every other Tuesday after school and every Monday during homeroom in Mr. LaBar\u2019s room (112).
