Class of 2025 – Graduation Video Content Needed<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SENIORS!!!\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During our graduation ceremony, a video documenting our senior year will play on the jumbotron.\u00a0 We plan to compile videos, photos, and interviews highlighting memories and experiences of all class of 2025 students. Please upload any photos or videos you would like us to include to this google form<\/a> by April 15th. The title of your photo or video should be the first and last name of the person submitting the form<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Career Awareness Month Guest Speakers:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Senior Scholarships<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Greetings! The 2025 EHS Local Scholarship Program for seniors is now open. Here is the link to the EHS Local Scholarship List, Applications & Instructions to Apply.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All applications will be due by Friday, March 21st at 2:30 PM, no exceptions.  Good luck!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) – March 24, 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any students in grades 10-12 who are interested in pursuing a career in the military or interested in finding out more about potential careers should take the ASVAB. The next opportunity to take the test will be on March 24th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please complete the <\/a>March 2025 ASVAB Test Registration<\/a> if you are interested in signing up for the ASVAB test.  The registration needs to be completed by March 20th.  If you have any questions, you can reach out to your Counselor or Mrs. Wood<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAT Testing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All SAT tests are now digital!\u00a0 You\u00a0MUST<\/strong>\u00a0have a\u00a0photo ID<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and your\u00a0Chromebook<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0with the most current BlueBook app installed with you on testing day to sit for the SAT.\u00a0 There will be no loaner Chromebooks available on test days.\u00a0 It is imperative that you follow the directions that you have received from the College Board so that you are prepared when you arrive for the SATs.\u00a0 The next testing dates for the SATs here at EHS are March 8th and May 4th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer Technology Employment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The East Penn School District Technology Department is accepting applications for (4) temporary summer technology positions from June 16, 2025 – August 8, 2025. In order for you to be considered for a Summer Technology position, you must be a current student at Emmaus High School or have graduated from Emmaus High School and currently enrolled in higher education. The hourly rate is $12.50\/hr. with a maximum of 320 hours. If you are interested, applications are available on the East Penn School District Website<\/a>. You may also pick up an application in the Main Office and\/or Counseling Office of Emmaus High School.\u00a0 DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS IS APRIL 4, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer Maintenance Employment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Facilities Department is accepting applications for summer maintenance employment from 6\/23\/25-8\/15\/25<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(8 WEEKS). If you are a student and interested in being one of our 15 summer maintenance employees, applications are available on the East Penn School District Website<\/a>. You may also pick up an application in the main office and\/or guidance office of Emmaus High School. Applicants must be an East Penn resident 16 years of age or older and continuing their education in high school or college. The hourly rate is $12.50\/hr. with a maximum of 320 hours. DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY-APRIL 4, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Field Study<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any current 10th and 11th grade student interested\u00a0in participating in the Field Study program for the 25-26 school year must complete the program application\u00a0found in the Class of Schoology group or on our\u00a0program website<\/a>. The application\u00a0is now open and will close on the corrected date of March 5, 2025. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Duffy at\u00a0kduffy@eastpennsd.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEM Trip<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Are you interested in a STEM trip to London and Paris?\u00a0 The trip will include various science-based tourist locations such as the Royal Observatory at Greenwich, London Science Museum, London Eye, Eiffel Tower, and a day at Disneyland Paris.\u00a0 The trip is scheduled for June 22-July 2 2026.\u00a0 Please contact Mr. Ohl in room 141 with any questions or stop by for an informational flyer about the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring Musical<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for EHS’s\u00a0Spring Musical,\u00a0Mamma Mia,<\/em>\u00a0are now available on the EHS website.\u00a0 Tickets are $12 for students and senior citizens, and $14 for adults. The show runs April\u00a02-5 at 7PM and April 5 and 6 at 2PM in the EHS auditorium. Get your tickets before we sell out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Counseling Resources – Please Take a Look!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EHS School Counseling Office\u2019s YouTube channel has many informational videos on topics such as creating a resume, using Naviance, career and college exploration, the college search and application processes, and requesting transcripts, among many other topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EHS Red Cross Club<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Did you know that a blood transfusion is needed every two seconds in the U.S.? EHS Red Cross Club is promoting Miller-Keystone Blood Donation Centers. If you donate blood and have proof, come to room 16 (Montepeque) for a bag of candy! Additionally, you\u2019ll get a T-shirt from Miller-Keystone at the donation site.  See the fliers posted around the school to scan the QR code for more information.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LVHN Cedar Crest (1255 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard Suite 1300 Allentown, PA 18103) takes blood donations every day except Sundays! If you are interested in donating blood<\/a> at this location, please schedule an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library.\u00a0 Please visit your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School Homework Help <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year.  Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late\u00a0Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Please be advised that there will be no activity bus on March 11th due to the 11am dismissal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using the Late Bus Google Form<\/a> in Schoology under the Materials section<\/strong> or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.
** Thursdays only, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM **
