Senior Breakfast Announcement<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hey Seniors! Get ready to kick off your morning with good food and great company!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Senior Breakfast<\/strong>will take place on Friday, October 10th during 2nd block.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets are $10<\/strong> and will be on sale during lunch starting Monday<\/strong>. To reserve your spot, be sure to fill out the <\/strong>Google Form<\/a> and purchase your ticket by October 1st\u2014<\/strong>no late sales!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Don\u2019t have lunch at EHS? No problem! You can buy your ticket in the main office<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Military Recruiter Visits<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starting October 1st, 2025, Emmaus High will be hosting military recruiters, allowing for the opportunity to speak with students who are interested in pursuing a path with the Armed Forces. The recruiters will be set up between Cafe 1 and Cafe 2 for the duration of Block 3 on the following recurring weekdays each month:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Army – 1st Thursday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marine Corps – 1st Wednesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Force – 2nd Tuesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navy – 1st Tuesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Army National Guard \u2013 2nd Wednesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coast Guard \u2013 3rd Monday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emmaus Science Honor Society<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any junior or senior interested in joining the Emmaus Science Honor Society should use the QR code in his or her science classroom or hanging in the hallway.\u00a0 Signups will be taken through Sept 26.\u00a0 All requirements for acceptance can be found when you open the QR code.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the\u00a02025-26 Student Tutoring Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Library.\u00a0 Please visit your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fall Play<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for EHS’s\u00a0fall play, The Diary of Anne Frank, are now on sale.\u00a0 Tickets can be purchased on the EHS\u00a0website.\u00a0 Prices are $12 for students and senior citizens and $14 for adults.\u00a0 The show will run November 6,7, & 8 at 7PM in the EHS auditorium.\u00a0 Come out to support our cast and crew!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homecoming<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Homecoming\u00a0Dance will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 6-9pm. Tickets sales begin September 29th during lunches and after school in room 308 9\/30 & 10\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal Advisory Meeting<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Welcome again to a new school year!   For those students new to EHS, we would like to invite you and everyone else <\/em>to participate in our monthly Principal Advisory Meetings.  All are welcome, and the first 40 students to sign up will receive an email pass to attend.  As we explained in our class meetings, we use these meetings to discuss ideas and suggestions to improve our school for everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month’s principal advisory meeting will be held on Friday, 9\/26, from 10:30 am to 11:30 AM in the MMR.  This is an A Day, and you will miss part of block 3 class and homeroom, so please check your schedule and speak with your teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal Advisory Meeting Sign-Up Form<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) – October 15, 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any students in grades 10-12 who are interested in pursuing a career in the military or interested in finding out more about potential careers should take the ASVAB. Please complete the\u00a0October 2025 ASVAB Test Registration<\/a>\u00a0if you are interested in signing up for the ASVAB test.\u00a0 The registration needs to be completed by October 9th. If you have any questions, you can reach out to your Counselor or\u00a0Mrs. Wood.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PSAT\u2019s<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

PSATs will be offered on October 22, 2025 beginning at 11:30am.\u00a0 This is an early dismissal day, so you would stay after school, eat a quick lunch, and begin the exam by 11:45am. The exam will take approximately 2-\u00bd hours and you will need to\u00a0provide your own transportation home.\u00a0 If you would like to sign up for the PSAT, please complete this\u00a02025-26 PSAT Registration Form<\/a>, which can also be found in your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group, by September 29th; this form must be completed by the student using their EPSD account.\u00a0 The cost of the PSAT is $18.00.\u00a0 Payments in the form of cash or check made payable to EHS, should be dropped off to Mrs. Lucchesi-Wood in Room 272.\u00a0\u00a0The PSAT registration deadline is September 29th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel Opportunity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Informational meetings for the trip to Spain & Portugal will be held on September 30 and October 1 in room 016 at 6:30 PM.\u00a0 This meeting is only for students who wish to sign up for the trip.\u00a0 Please use door # 8 by the Auditorium to enter the building.\u00a0 For more information about the trip, go to Explorica.com and enter the tour ID: Montepeque-6693.\u00a0 If you’re not able to attend the meetings, please see Mr. Montepeque in room 016 for more information.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Unforgettable Adventure in Italy & Greece!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re thrilled to share that an Emmaus High School group is heading to Italy & Greece in the Summer of 2027, and we\u2019d love for your student to join us! This is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills like independence and confidence. We will be sharing all the details, including what we\u2019ll see and do, hands-on learning activities, academic opportunities, trip costs, and how to secure a spot at our informational meeting <\/a>on Thursday, September 25th. Meeting for Thailand 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you signed up to go to Thailand in June 2026, please come to the student meeting on 9\/25\/2025 in room 219 after school! If you’re interested in signing up to travel to Thailand with us, stop by 219 for more information.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academic Support for All Students<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Teachers and some students are available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.\u00a0\u00a0 If needed, there is a late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15. If students need to utilize the late bus, they must sign up on this form LATE BUS SIGN UPS before 10 am on the day they need to take the bus. We hope our students take advantage of this great opportunity to help them succeed academically at EHS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bus picks up around 3:15pm at door #4.  You may only use the late bus for clubs or detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using the  Late Bus Sign Up<\/a> in Schoology under the Materials section<\/strong> or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May<\/strong>.  The form will only accept responses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:23am until the 10:30am deadline**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:30 pm outside the library entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

** Mondays only<\/u>, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:30PM <\/u>**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Home Football Game Reminder<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Re-entry to the stadium is not permitted. Once you leave the stadium you may not return without paying another entry fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young Republicans Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s been two years too long, come join…. THE YOUNG REPUBLICANS CLUB for the FIRST meeting on Thursday, September 25th from 2:30-4:00 pm in the HIVE! We will elect officers during that meeting and you will receive more info during that time. Any questions please email the YRC advisor, Mrs. Shook, at jshook@eastpennsd.org<\/a>. Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAT Prep<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The math club will be offering SAT Prep for all EHS students interested in working on their SAT & PSAT test taking skills.  SAT Prep will be offered every Friday during homeroom in the MMR.  If interested, please join the Schoology group QPVB-R6P5-VTM9B <\/strong>and then register to attend on the schoology group page.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bible Study Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next meeting for the Bible Study Club will be on Wednesday, September 24th from 6:45-7:10am in Room 254. From there, we will be meeting every Wednesday morning. Afternoon meeting date TBD. Bible study club will meet Thursday, September 25, 2025 after school at 2:30 in room 229.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interact Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Interact Club will continue to collect soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Tabs can be dropped off outside of 216. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chess Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first meeting of the EHS Chess Club is Thursday, September 25 in the MMR at 2:30. There will be pizza and snacks along with getting organized and some playing time.  All levels of players are welcome.  If you are a beginner, we will help you improve.  If you’re a good player we will help you get better.  Most importantly, our goal is always to make playing this great game fun for all [yes, unusual trophies will be presented in future weeks!]  The chess club will meet every Thursday at 2:30 in the MMR unless announced otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habitat for Humanity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habitat for Humanity will meet after school in room 229 on September 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habitat for Humanity will be selling donuts for $2 and Celsius for $3 before school in the HIVE Thursday mornings. Bring cash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instant Decision Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, ten colleges\/universities are going to be hosting Instant Decision Days at Emmaus High School. This opportunity is for Seniors only<\/strong>! Listed down below are the dates that each college will be on campus, please know that you MUST<\/strong> sign up on the Google form linked below AND<\/strong> apply to the specific college. The Google form will be closed one week before the university visits, so please be mindful about signing up before the deadline. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
