Pumpkin Carving Contest-Join the Fun!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Entry Fee: $30 per team (cash or check to Emmaus High School<\/em>, memo: Get ready for some fall fun! Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Pumpkin Painting Contest on October 29th during homeroom in the cafeteria!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Form a team of up to six friends and show off your creativity to win prizes for Most Creative, Most Festive, or Best Overall! All supplies are provided\u2014just bring your school spirit (and your painting skills)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign-up: One team member should submit the form<\/a> by October 22nd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habitat for Humanity \/ your name & ID<\/em>)\u2014turn in to Mrs. Russo in Room 229 by October 25th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you\u2019re signed up, you\u2019ll get a confirmation email to use as your homeroom pass for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Animal Food Drive<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Interact Club is hosting an animal food drive for the Animal Food Bank of Lehigh Valley, which will be donated to families in need. The food drive will be accepting collections from October 1 to November 1 in the box outside of Room 216, Mrs. Kaunitz\u2019s room. We are collecting primarily dry and wet cat and dog food, but pet food for smaller pets is also accepted and greatly appreciated. Winter Sports Info<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The link for 2025-2026 Winter Sports Sign-up Form is can be found in your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology or on the Emmaus Athletics\/Activities website.  The due date for students to fill out this form is October 17, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is information there for PIAA forms as well as Impact Testing. More information will be forthcoming regarding PIAA physicals, sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Health Network. Jefferson Hospitals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Military Recruiter Visits<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starting October 1st, 2025, Emmaus High will be hosting military recruiters, allowing for the opportunity to speak with students who are interested in pursuing a path with the Armed Forces. The recruiters will be set up between Cafe 1 and Cafe 2 for the duration of Block 3 on the following recurring weekdays each month:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Army – 1st Thursday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marine Corps – 1st Wednesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Force – 2nd Tuesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navy – 1st Tuesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Army National Guard \u2013 2nd Wednesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coast Guard \u2013 3rd Monday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the\u00a02025-26 Student Tutoring Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Library.\u00a0 Please visit your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fall Play<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for EHS’s\u00a0fall play, The Diary of Anne Frank, are now on sale.\u00a0 Tickets can be purchased on the EHS\u00a0website.\u00a0 Prices are $12 for students and senior citizens and $14 for adults.\u00a0 The show will run November 6,7, & 8 at 7PM in the EHS auditorium.\u00a0 Come out to support our cast and crew!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) – October 15, 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any students in grades 10-12 who are interested in pursuing a career in the military or interested in finding out more about potential careers should take the ASVAB. Please complete the\u00a0October 2025 ASVAB Test Registration<\/a>\u00a0if you are interested in signing up for the ASVAB test.\u00a0 The registration needs to be completed by October 9th. If you have any questions, you can reach out to your Counselor or\u00a0Mrs. Wood.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
