Shave for the Brave<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Emmaus Shave for the Brave, a pediatric cancer fundraiser, is hosting a dine and donate event at Anthony\u2019s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings on Tuesday, November 11 from 11AM to 9PM! Senior Yearbook and Graduation Photos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The deadline is approaching to have your senior yearbook and graduation day jumbotron photo taken. In order to appear in this year’s yearbook, all photos must be taken before December 4.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wesley Works Photography will be at the school to take photos on Monday, November 10th, from 1:00-4:00 in the MMR Room and on Tuesday, November 18th, from 10:00-1:00 in the black box theater, located behind the auditorium stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photos can also be taken ANYTIME between now and December 4 at Wesley Works Photography. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please schedule online at wesleyworks.com\/seniors<\/a>  (This includes in-school sessions. Schedule Package \u201cE\u201d for sessions at the school.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no charge to have your yearbook\/jumbotron photo taken.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rotary Youth Exchange<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ever thought of LIVING and GOING TO SCHOOL in another country<\/strong> OR during summer being matched with a \u201cnew friend\u201d from another country and spending 3 weeks in his\/her home and then having that person come and spend 3 weeks with you<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If so, Investigate R<\/strong>otary Y<\/strong>outh E<\/strong>xchange. Open up your mind, LIVE a new language<\/em>, HAVE a new home, CONNECT with peers from around the globe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interested in learning more? Come to an informational meeting on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13th<\/u><\/strong> in MMR B\/room 320.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Animal Food Drive<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Interact Club is hosting an animal food drive for the Animal Food Bank of Lehigh Valley, which will be donated to families in need. The food drive will be accepting collections from October 1 to November 7 in the box outside of Room 216, Mrs. Kaunitz\u2019s room. We are collecting primarily dry and wet cat and dog food, but pet food for smaller pets is also accepted and greatly appreciated. Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the\u00a02025-26 Student Tutoring Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Library.\u00a0 Please visit your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fall Play<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for EHS’s\u00a0fall play, The Diary of Anne Frank, are now on sale.\u00a0 Tickets can be purchased on the EHS\u00a0website.\u00a0 Prices are $12 for students and senior citizens and $14 for adults.\u00a0 The show will run November 6,7, & 8 at 7PM in the EHS auditorium.\u00a0 Come out to support our cast and crew!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel Opportunities<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An unforgettable adventure in Italy & Greece!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re thrilled to share that an Emmaus High School group is heading to Italy & Greece in June 2027, and we\u2019d love for your student to join us! This is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills like independence and confidence. Academic Support for All Students<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Teachers and some students are available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.\u00a0\u00a0 If needed, there is a late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15. If students need to utilize the late bus, they must sign up on this form LATE BUS SIGN UPS before 10 am on the day they need to take the bus. We hope our students take advantage of this great opportunity to help them succeed academically at EHS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bus picks up around 3:15pm at door #4.  You may only use the late bus for clubs or detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using the  Late Bus Sign Up<\/a> in Schoology under the Materials section<\/strong> or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May<\/strong>.  The form will only accept responses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:23am until the 10:30am deadline**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:30 pm outside the library entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

** Mondays only<\/u>, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:30PM <\/u>**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLUBS:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Collage Magazine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collage Magazine will be meeting on Thursday 11\/6 after school in room 219 from 2:30-3:30 PM! Join us for a short story writing workshop and practice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emmaus Rotary Club 4 Way Test Speech Contest<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emmaus High School Cafeteria 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

December 2, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants write and deliver a speech that is 4-6 minutes long. The speech is related to a topic that the student is passionate about. It must include all of the following Rotary 4 Way Test components:  Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All participants receive a monetary prize!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
