You can find more information and the paperwork that must be completed by Friday, November 14th, in your class of 2029 Schoology page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Legacy Exhibit in EHS Library<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Come to the EHS library Monday Nov. 10 through Friday Nov. 14 to experience the\u00a0Legacy Exhibit, provided by the Holocaust Resource center of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley.\u00a0 This exhibit was provided as an extension of the Theater Department&#8217;s production of The Diary of Anne Frank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Red Cross<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that a blood transfusion is needed every two seconds in the U.S.?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EHS Red Cross Club will be sponsoring a blood drive at Miller-Keystone Blood Centers from November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026.&nbsp; Our goal&nbsp;is to donate 100 units. Students and staff are encouraged&nbsp;to participate! Cedar Crest Blvd., Ste 1300 | Allentown.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for donating!&nbsp; Your donation will help save the life of someone in our community!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Senior Yearbook and Graduation Photos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline is approaching to have your senior yearbook and graduation day jumbotron photo taken. This is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills like independence and confidence. For more information, including what we\u2019ll see and do, trip costs, and how to secure a spot on this trip, please reach out to Mrs Kinzel\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:skinzel@eastpennsd.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">skinzel@eastpennsd.org<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Academic Support for All Students<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Teachers and some students are available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.\u00a0\u00a0 If needed, there is a late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15. If students need to utilize the late bus, they must sign up on this form LATE BUS SIGN UPS before 10 am on the day they need to take the bus. We hope our students take advantage of this great opportunity to help them succeed academically at EHS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Late Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bus picks up around 3:15pm at door #4.&nbsp; You may only use the late bus for clubs or detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sign up online using the<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/DBd2CWw1oUAJvan4A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;&nbsp;Late Bus Sign Up<\/a>&nbsp;in Schoology under&nbsp;<strong>the Materials section<\/strong>&nbsp;or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays&nbsp;<strong>through the end of May<\/strong>.<strong>&nbsp; The form will only accept responses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:23am until the 10:30am deadline**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:30 pm outside the library entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>**&nbsp;<u>Mondays only<\/u>, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom,&nbsp;<u>ONLY AT 2-2:30PM&nbsp;<\/u>**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CLUBS:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>National Art Honor Society<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Art Honor Society will meet on November 20th from 2:35-3:30 in room 217. If you are unable&nbsp;to attend, check in with Pfenn through email or by stopping into her room during homeroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rotary Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emmaus Rotary Club 4 Way Test Speech Contest<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emmaus High School Cafeteria&nbsp;2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>December 2, 2025,&nbsp;starting at&nbsp;2:30 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants write and deliver a speech that is 4-6 minutes long. The speech is related to a topic that the student is passionate about. It must include all of the following Rotary 4 Way Test components: &nbsp;Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Make a new friend, learn something new, contribute to more peaceful and connected world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bible Study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We meet Wednesday mornings in Room 254 from 6:45-7:10am (you can enter through the counseling doors) and Thursday afternoons in Room 229 from 2:30-3:15pm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAT Prep<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The math club will be offering SAT Prep for all EHS students interested in working on their SAT &amp; PSAT test taking skills.&nbsp; SAT Prep will be offered every Friday during homeroom in the MMR.&nbsp; If interested, please join the Schoology group&nbsp;<strong>QPVB-R6P5-VTM9B&nbsp;<\/strong>and then register to attend on the schoology group page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interact Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Interact Club will continue to collect soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House.&nbsp;Tabs can be dropped&nbsp;off outside of 216.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Habitat for Humanity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Habitat for Humanity will be selling donuts for $2 and Celsius for $3 before&nbsp;school in the HIVE Thursday mornings. Bring cash.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Instant Decision Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, ten colleges\/universities are going to be hosting Instant Decision Days at Emmaus High School. <strong>This opportunity is for Seniors only<\/strong>!
