Fill out\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/AszyZcdShxXLzGi38\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>this google form<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to sign up for tickets.\u00a0You may also purchase them during all lunches.\u00a0 If you can&#8217;t make it on Feb\u00a08, you can still use the tickets for open bowling until March 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Spring Musical<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets are now on sale for EHS&#8217;s\u00a0spring musical,\u00a0<em>Jekyll &amp; Hyde.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0The show\u00a0runs March 24-29.\u00a0 Tickets are $14 for students and $16 for adults, and can be purchased on the EHS website.\u00a0Come out to support our cast, crew, and musicians!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hot Cocoa Bar<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday February 3 the cafeteria will have a Hot Cocoa Bar during all lunches. Make it your own with a variety of fun toppings for $1.50 each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Shave for the Brave<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Be a hero for kids with cancer through the&nbsp;<strong>Emmaus&nbsp;Shave for the Brave&nbsp;on Friday, March 13,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>2026<\/strong>! Our pediatric cancer fundraiser is a St. Baldrick\u2019s Foundation head-shaving event that raises money for invaluable research. Everyone is welcome in the EHS Gym, and our goal is to raise $100,000 through 100+ bald heads.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve never been to a St. Baldrick\u2019s event, prepare to experience something really special. Please feel free to distribute amongst your athletic community.&nbsp; Refer to the attached letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;A couple of highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The physicals window will open on Monday January 19<sup>th<\/sup>, 2026 and will remain open through the first week of spring sports, closing at the end of business on Friday March 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physicals can be scheduled at ANY ExpressCare OR JeffExpress Urgent Care locations!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student athletes who have a current annual well check on file with their LVHN primary care clinician can have their PIAA physical paperwork signed by their clinician at no charge during the designated physical\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:rgeorge@eastpennsd.org\">rgeorge@eastpennsd.org<\/a> or stop by the Athletics Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lifeguard Course<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Any current freshman that would like to take the lifeguarding course next year in place of their aquatics course or if you are a sophomore or junior interested in taking lifeguarding as an elective next year, please fill out the lifeguard prerequisite form on your class schoology page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will be holding six pre-test sessions on January, 27th, 29th, 30th, 23rd, February 3rd and on February 5th.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pass will be given to you during hornet homeroom to take the prerequisite tests in the pool on the date you sign up for.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Two prerequisite tests will include a&nbsp;300-yard swim under ten minutes and treading water for two minutes without using your hands.&nbsp;All aquatics swim attire guidelines are enforced for the tests.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Phantoms Night<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Emmaus High School Choir will be performing the Nation Anthem at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms game on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 7:05 p.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1Ib2uPJq_W0qAvTr94NwSy1TBizMZo0Lz\/view\">Purchase tickets for $20<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Emmaus FBLA Fundraiser<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Support our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club while enjoying delicious specialty coffee and cocoa! Teachers and some students are available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.\u00a0\u00a0 If needed, there is a late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15. If students need to utilize the late bus, they must sign up on this form LATE BUS SIGN UPS before 10 am on the day they need to take the bus. We hope our students take advantage of this great opportunity to help them succeed academically at EHS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bus Information<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If a student is riding home on another student&#8217;s bus, both students must have a parent note granting permission. The parent note needs to include both students&#8217; names, the bus number, and the date on which they will be riding together. There must also be a parent&#8217;s signature on each note. Together, first thing in the morning, both students must go to one of their AP offices for approval.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All students who ride the bus must promptly report to the bus platform when the bell rings at 2:25 PM. If you miss your bus at the end of the day, buses will not be called back to pick you up. You will be responsible for your own transportation home once buses depart from EHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Late Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bus picks up around 3:15pm at door #4.\u00a0 You may only use the late bus for clubs or detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sign up online using the<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/DBd2CWw1oUAJvan4A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0\u00a0Late Bus Sign Up<\/a>\u00a0in Schoology under\u00a0<strong>the Materials section<\/strong>\u00a0or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays\u00a0<strong>through the end of May<\/strong>.<strong>\u00a0 The form will only accept responses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:23am until the 10:30am deadline**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chromebook \/ IT Help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 \u2013 10:55) and from 2 to 2:30 pm outside the library entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>**&nbsp;<u>Mondays only<\/u>, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom,&nbsp;<u>ONLY AT 2-2:30PM&nbsp;<\/u>**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CLUBS:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No Place for Hate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meetings will take place on 2\/3, 2\/10, 2\/24, 3\/17, 3\/31, 4\/14,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bible Study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We meet Wednesday mornings in Room 254 from 6:45-7:10am (you can enter through the counseling doors) and Thursday afternoons in Room 229 from 2:30-3:15pm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SAT Prep<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The math club will be offering SAT Prep for all EHS students interested in working on their SAT &amp; PSAT test taking skills.&nbsp; SAT Prep will be offered every Friday during homeroom in the MMR.&nbsp; If interested, please join the Schoology group&nbsp;<strong>QPVB-R6P5-VTM9B&nbsp;<\/strong>and then register to attend on the schoology group page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interact Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Interact Club will continue to collect soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House.&nbsp;Tabs can be dropped&nbsp;off outside of 216.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Habitat for Humanity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Habitat for Humanity will be selling donuts for $2 and Celsius for $3 before&nbsp;school in the HIVE Thursday mornings.
