EHS Picture Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EHS\u00a0Picture\u00a0Day\u00a0is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2nd in the Auditorium.\u00a0 Students should report to the auditorium at their scheduled time.\u00a0 If you are interested in purchasing\u00a0pictures, please make sure to complete Christmas City\u2019s online order form.\u00a0 Schedules listing reporting times will be posted in classrooms and on bulletin boards.\u00a0 If you do not wish to purchase\u00a0pictures, please still have your\u00a0picture\u00a0taken for your i.d. card.\u00a0 Seniors, if you need an i.d. card, please have your\u00a0picture\u00a0taken as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PSAT\/NMSQT<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

PSATs will be offered on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 8: 00am.The exam will take approximately 2-\u00bd hours. If you require accommodations for the PSAT, you will need to reach out to your Counselor immediately so that it can be submitted to the College Board for consideration. Any accommodations that you may have here at EHS do not automatically apply to PSAT\/SAT\/AP exams through the College Board; you must<\/u><\/strong> submit a request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to sign up for the PSAT, please complete the 2026-27 PSAT Registration Form<\/a>, which can also be found in your \u201cClass of\u201d Schoology Group, by October 2nd; this form must be completed by the student using their EPSD account.\u00a0 The cost of the PSAT is $30.00.\u00a0 Payments in the form of cash or check made payable to EHS, should be dropped off to Mrs. Lucchesi-Wood in Room 272.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PSAT registration deadline is Friday, October 2nd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) – October 20, 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any students in grades 10-12 who are interested in finding out more about potential careers, in pursuing a career in the military, or meeting your ACT 158 graduation requirement, should consider taking the ASVAB. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please complete the October 2026 ASVAB Test Registration Form<\/a> if you are interested in signing up for the ASVAB test.  The registration needs to be completed by October 13th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Locker Request Form<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This form<\/a> serves as your formal request to secure a locker for the 2026-2027 school year.\u00a0 Please Note:\u00a0 Students are not automatically assigned a locker each year.\u00a0 If a student wishes to have a locker, they must complete the locker request form each school year.\u00a0 The Student Service Principal’s Offices will process the request and assign the locker.\u00a0 Locker assignments are typically given in the order the requests are received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Military Recruiter Visits<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starting October 1st, 2026, Emmaus High will be hosting military recruiters, allowing for the opportunity to speak with students who are interested in pursuing a path with the Armed Forces. The recruiters will be set up between Cafe 1 and Cafe 2 for the duration of Block 3 on the following recurring weekdays each month:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Army – 1st Thursday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marine Corps – 1st Wednesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Force – 2nd Tuesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navy – 1st Tuesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Army National Guard \u2013 2nd Wednesday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coast Guard \u2013 3rd Monday of the month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late Bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The late bus begins on September 1st. <\/strong>The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bus picks up around 3:15pm at door #4.  You may only use the late bus for clubs or detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign up online using the  Late Bus Sign Up<\/a> in Schoology under the Materials section<\/strong> or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May<\/strong>.  The form will only accept responses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:23am until the 11:30am deadline**<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLUBS:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Interact Club:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first Interact Community Service Club meeting will be on Sept 1 from 2:35 -3:00 in the caf.  All are welcome to join us to find out more about the club and what we do.  Club sign-up papers will be outside of Mrs. Kaunitz’s room, 216.  They are due back Sept 22. Thanks! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
