Eyer School Community,
Please accept this communication as a formal invitation to attend the Eyer Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday, September 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The attached document outlines the schedule for the Eyer Meet the Teacher Night Program. We ask all families to review this schedule and attend the sessions that appropriately correspond with the first letter of their last name. By following this schedule, we hope to ensure that we are able to appropriately accommodate all interested families in a manner that balances the number of families attending each session during the respective time periods.
Please note that the primary purpose of Meet the Teacher Night is to provide families with an opportunity to officially meet their child(s) teachers and to learn more about the overall instructional program and general classroom expectations. The Eyer Meet the Teacher Night schedule is not designed for families to have individual conversations about student progress or academic goals. We will host two separate Parent Teacher Conferences during the 22-23 school year, one in November and a second in February where families can have more targeted conversations about individual student progress.
Additionally, there will be a number of representatives from a variety of community organizations from across the Lehigh Valley located in the Eyer Commons and a presentation about the tech focused world that our children are growing up in in the Eyer Learning Lab during Meet the Teacher Night. Interested families are welcome to to interact with representatives from these community organizations or attend either of the presentations throughout the evening at the Meet the Teacher Night Program.
We look forward to welcoming the members of the Eyer School Community to the hallways and instructional spaces at Eyer on Wednesday, September 6th.
