(A copy of this message will also be sent via phone on Friday evening, August 27th.)
We look forward to welcoming our students back for the first day of school on Monday, August 30th. Homeroom starts at 7:30am. Just a friendly reminder that masks are required for all students, with the exception of those who have an approved medical exemption. Please be aware that we have made some minor schedule and locker adjustments over the course of the last week, and all students will get their official schedule in Homeroom on Monday, and should follow that schedule and locker assignment. A link to our bell schedule can be accessed by clicking here.
Meet the Teacher Night will be held on Tuesday, August 31st from 6:30-8:30pm. In an effort to limit the amount of people gathering in each space, we have created a schedule based on students’ last name, so please check the Eyer website for the schedule. Parents who have multiple children in different grade levels may attend the first Pod session for one child, and the second Pod session for their other child, regardless of last name. We respectfully ask that only parents/caregivers attend unless you are unable to find child care for younger children. Older siblings should not attend. Please be advised that all visitors are required to wear a mask.
The PAWS Pool Party is scheduled to be held afterschool on Thursday, September 9th. The cost of the Pool Party is $5 per student, as this event is a fundraiser for our PAWS Program. Students will receive a permission slip in homeroom, and a copy will also be available on our webpage.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, and we wish you a great start to the school year. Thank you, and have a good evening.
Dr. Michael P. Kelly
Principal, Eyer Middle School
