It is Wednesday, March 26th and it is day 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ArtsQuest Book Art Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join Mr. Solano in the Eyer Library today, March 26th during all lunches for a Book Art Workshop and Pop-Up Exhibit with ArtsQuest Teaching Artist Claire Marcus! In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the exciting world of interactive book arts, folding and designing unique paper structures while incorporating their own writing, drawings, and creative ideas. They\u2019ll also learn about book arts and mixed media techniques, no prior experience needed, and all materials will be provided! Participants will also get an exclusive preview of <em>Industrial Strength<\/em>, Claire Marcus\u2019 latest exhibit, which highlights the beauty and resilience of industrial forms. Don\u2019t miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attention Eyer!<\/strong> Angel Network is seeking a few select items. Please donate gently used sweatpants, hoodies, sweatshirts and girls black leggings. Due to limited space please donate these select items. Thank you for your generosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday is PAWS cookie day!! Students wearing green and gold will be rewarded with a cookie during their lunch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Counseling Office is having their annual jelly bean\u00a0guessing game. Stop down either during homeroom or lunch to submit your guess\u00a0to win a prize. The game will go until April\u00a03rd and the winner will be announced on April 4th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Multicultural Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>March is Irish American Heritage Month, and our Multicultural Club is celebrating with a special baking demo! Mrs. Snow, our 7th-grade counselor, will be showing us how to make traditional Irish Soda Bread on Thursday, March 27th.&nbsp;All students interested in participating in this event must sign up in Guidance. To participate, homeroom teachers must complete&nbsp;the&nbsp;Google Form&nbsp;sent by Mrs. Cosme, and&nbsp;paper for your door is&nbsp;available in Guidance. Judging will take place on&nbsp;Wednesday,&nbsp;March 26th, with winners announced on March 27th. Doors will be evaluated based on creativity, cultural representation, educational value, visual appeal, and teamwork, with bonus points for interactive elements.&nbsp;For more information, see Mrs. Cosme in Guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best Buddies T-Shirt Design Contest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calling all Eyer artists and creative minds! The Best Buddies Club is hosting a T-shirt Design Contest, and we need your help to create a design that spreads a message of friendship and acceptance. The theme is &#8220;Friends embrace your quirks by choice,&#8221; and we challenge you to create an image that represents friendship, uniqueness, and inclusion. The contest is open to all Eyer students and staff, and the winning design will be featured on a T-shirt sold to support the club! The winner will also receive a free T-shirt with their design and a Wawa gift card. Submit your original artwork to Mrs. Hastie in Room 122 by Monday, March 24th. Doors open at 6 PM, and BINGO begins at 7 PM. Enjoy an evening of bingo games, basket raffles, snacks, and an open gym while supporting the PTO\u2019s mission to enhance our school community. Tickets will be on sale from April 1st to April 11th for $25.00. This special event features food, desserts, dancing, and activities, with the cafeteria transformed into a memorable space for our students. Get ready for an exciting summer league at Whitehall HS Soccer\/Football Turf Fields. The team will play on Wednesdays and Thursdays, May 28th through July 10th, with game times at 5:00, 6:15, 7:30, or 8:45 PM. The league fee is $80-$100. This is a fantastic opportunity to play at the HS JV level for rising 8th and 9th graders. Interested students can sign up in the main office. We meet Thursdays after school in room 104<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Homework Club<\/strong>&#8211; Get the help you need, improve your grades, stay organized and finish assignments in a focused, quiet environment.&nbsp;For additional information, see Mrs. Cosme in Guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Table Top Club<\/strong>: <strong>Eyer\u2019s<\/strong> Tabletop Club meets every Tuesday, interested students should see Mr. Davis in the music room (room 310) to sign up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Walking Club<\/strong> &#8211; There will be walking club Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>RECURRING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Late Bus<\/strong><br>The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chromebooks <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they&#8217;re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lost &amp; Found<\/strong><br>There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Weis4School Rewards Program <\/strong>&#8211; The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis.
