It is Day 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Autism Acceptance Spirit Week &#8211; We ask all Eyer students and staff to join us from Monday 4\/20 through 4\/24 for Autism Acceptance Sprit Week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monday 4\/20 &#8211; Every Brain is Beautiful &#8211; Kick of the week wearing Rainbow or Tie-Dye <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuesday 4\/21 &#8211; Sensory Friendly Day &#8211; Focus on comfort by wearing your favorite PJS or Sweats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday 4\/22 &#8211; Share Your Spark &#8211; Dress to represent your favorite interest, whether its a sport, movie, space, art, a specific animal or another things that is your favorite interest. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thursday 4\/23 &#8211; Autism Acceptance Day &#8211; Wear red today to show that our school is a place where everyone belongs! <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Friday 4\/24 &#8211; Eyer Attire &#8211; Finish the week strong in your Eyer Attire or Jersey. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8<\/strong><strong>th Grade Semi-Formal<\/strong> &#8211; Tickets are now on sale for the 8th Grade Semi-Formal Dance! This annual event celebrates the culmination of the middle school experience for Eyer students and will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 6:00\u20139:00 PM at Eyer. The evening includes time with friends, music from a DJ, decorations, and a buffet dinner. Tickets (<a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/bdhzn4au\">https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/bdhzn4au<\/a>) will be available for purchase through the end of April. This event is only open to current Eyer 8th grade students and no students in other schools or grades are permitted to attend.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Boys Basketball Open Gym &#8211; <\/strong>Any male student-athlete currently in 6th or 7th grade who is interested in trying out for the 26\u201327 Eyer Boys Basketball Team is invited to participate in upcoming Eyer Boys Basketball Team Open Gym sessions. The open gym sessions will take place from 2:45PM through 4:30 PM on May 14 and May 28. Students who plan to participate must pick up an EPSD Intramural Activities Consent Form in the Eyer Main Office. A completed form must be brought with the student athlete to each session. Students are not permitted to participate in an open gym without a completed EPSD Intramural Activities Consent Form.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April PAWS Cookie Day &#8211; <\/strong>The April PAWS Cookie Day will take place this April 24th! Students who wear school colors will earn a cookie of their choice during lunch. We rely on the generous support of our Eyer families to keep this school tradition going. Donations can be made via the Eyer PTO Venmo account (@Eyer-Connection). When contributing, please include \u201cCookie Day\u201d as your note. We are truly grateful for the ongoing generosity and support of our school community!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S<strong>pring Music Concerts <\/strong>&#8211; The Eyer Music Department invites the school community to attend the spring student musical performances. Additional information about upcoming performances is outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spring Band Concert &#8211; April 29th at 7 PM at Eyer&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spring Orchestra Concert &#8211; &nbsp;May 5th at 7 PM at Eyer&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spring Choral Concert &#8211; May 15th at 7 PM at Eyer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/secure.givelively.org\/event\/joshway\/joshway-3d-printing-family-workshop\"><strong>JOSHWAY 3D Printing Family Workshop<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Current Eyer 8th grade student Carson St. Clair will be hosting an interactive 3D Printing Workshop at JOSHWAY in Easton designed for students of all ages and their families. This session will explore how ideas are transformed into real objects through 3D printing. Through live demonstrations and hands-on learning, participants will gain a clear and engaging understanding of how 3D printing works and why it matters. As a youth leader, Carson reflects the mission of JOSHWAY, empowering the next generation to lead, create, and inspire. He will guide participants through the 3D printing process while showcasing what is possible when curiosity meets opportunity. Additional details, including registration information, can be found at the link above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>25-26 Yearbook Sales<\/strong> &#8211; The deadline to order the 2024\u20132025 Eyer Yearbook is quickly approaching. Families who wish to purchase a yearbook should place their order as soon as possible to guarantee a copy. All orders must be placed online through the <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/339svee8\">Christmas City Studios Website<\/a>. Please note that no extra yearbooks will be ordered, and they will not be sold at school after the deadline which is <strong>April 30th.<\/strong> We encourage families to order within this window to ensure their student receives a copy and can capture this year\u2019s memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Emmaus Girls Soccer ID Camp-<\/strong>The Emmaus Girls Soccer ID Camp will take place from June 8th through June 11th at EHS Memorial Field from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM each evening. This camp is open to girls entering grades 7\u20139 for the 2026\u20132027 school year and offers an opportunity to train with current Emmaus Girls Soccer players and coaches while building skills and preparing for the next level. The Eyer Student Council is once again hosting a Band-Aid collection drive to support children receiving treatment at the LVHN Pediatric Cancer Clinic. We are accepting boxes of Band-Aids in any style or design, which can be dropped off in the Main Office or Room 634. Our goal is to collect 250 boxes of colorful or themed Band-Aids to help brighten the days of children in our region who are facing serious medical challenges. Want to discuss books and play some fun trivia games? Then you should join the Reading Olympics Club! We meet two or three times a month and will be preparing for a regional competition at the end of the school year. You can read as much or as little as you like, so come on and get in on the fun! Ready to join? Sign up outside Room 636.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-49becc69-5b63-4b9a-9694-734eb5c758e9\"><strong>Walking Club<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 \ud83d\udeb6\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83d\udeb6 Stop by the Main Office to sign up and pick up a permission slip to walk off campus. The club will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-a2188349-b1fb-422d-93a4-829c9d076129\"><strong>RECURRING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-b078be58-b5e8-46c6-9126-a46f6f16ebcd\"><strong>Chromebooks<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they\u2019re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-86e1693e-3c89-4160-8b61-cb7a46cbb7ac\"><strong>Late Bus<\/strong>&nbsp;The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0764e7d0-9522-4e91-83b6-aaccb9491cd0\"><strong>Lost &amp; Found<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-92070cb2-0ff3-4cd4-a34f-54171a0f45a7\"><strong>Weis4School Rewards Program<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis.
