Good Morning Eyer! It is Friday, May 8th. It is Day 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPSD Summer Relocation Form \u2013 <\/strong>Any current Eyer family planning to move over the summer should have their student stop by the School Counseling Office to pick up an EPSD Relocation Form. Completed forms should be returned to the Eyer School Counseling Office as soon as possible. This step is essential to ensure your child\u2019s educational records are transferred promptly and accurately to their new school. Call 610-965-1605 if you have any questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPSD Fall Sports Sign Ups <\/strong>\u2013 Is your student interested in Fall Sports? Any student athlete interested in joining a 2026 EPSD Fall Sports Team must complete the EPSD 2026 Fall Sports Google Form<\/a> by June 1st. For additional information, including requirements for physical examinations and the required IMPACT Testing please visit the EPSD Athletics Website<\/a>. Questions about athletics or the process should be directed to the EHS Athletics Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eyer\u2019s Talent Show<\/strong>\u2013 Get ready to shine because the Eyer Talent Show is coming! Do you sing, dance, act, juggle, or have a hidden talent you\u2019ve been waiting to share? Now\u2019s your chance to take the stage and show everyone what you can do! If you want to participate, be sure to sign up using the Google Form<\/a>. You can find it on the Eyer Homepage and on your homeroom Schoology page. Important: All students must complete the form AND attend an audition to be part of the show. Auditions will be held on May 12th and May 14th. Don\u2019t miss out on this exciting opportunity to perform, have fun, and be part of an amazing show. Spring Music Concerts <\/strong>\u2013 The Eyer Music Department invites the school community to attend the spring student musical performances. Additional information about upcoming performances is outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring Choral Concert \u2013 May 15th at 7 PM at Eyer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

26-27 Student Council Applications<\/strong> \u2013 Students interested in joining the Eyer Student Council for the 2026\u201327 school year are encouraged to pick up an application outside of Room 634 during AM or PM Homeroom. Please note that a completed application requires teacher recommendations, so interested students should connect with their teachers as soon as possible to request those. Completed applications are due to Mr. Bundinas in Room 634 by May 14th. Don\u2019t miss your chance to make your voice heard and be a leader at Eyer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8th Grade Semi-Formal<\/strong> \u2013 Time is running out! This is the last week to purchase tickets to the Eyer 8th Grade Semi-Formal. This annual celebration marks the culmination of the middle school experience and will be held on Saturday, May 30th from 6 PM to 9 PM at Eyer. The 8th Grade Semi-Formal highlights time with friends, a DJ, Dancing, activities, themed decorations, and lots of food. Please note that this event is open exclusively to current Eyer 8th grade students. Camelot for Children Summer Camp Volunteers<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer? Camelot for Children, a local organization that provides free camp experiences for children and young adults with intellectual and\/or medical disabilities, is seeking volunteers for their upcoming summer camps. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to make a real difference in the lives of campers who may not otherwise have access to traditional camp experiences. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to participate. Additional information can be found via the link in the heading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stuff the Truck Fundraiser <\/strong>\u2013 The Eyer Angel Network is hosting a Stuff the Truck Fundraiser on Saturday, May 23rd from 10 AM to 12 PM. We encourage all Eyer families to come out and support this wonderful cause! Donations of the following items are greatly appreciated: clothing, shoes, blankets, bed sheets, curtains, towels, pillows, comforters, and stuffed animals. Incoming 6th Grade Orientation <\/strong>\u2013 Parents and guardians of incoming Eyer 6th graders, you\u2019re invited to our Spring 6th Grade Parent Information Night on May 13th from 6:30 to 8 PM at Eyer Middle School! Join us for this introduction to the 6th grade experience and an overview of the key connections that will set your student up for success. Earlier that day, current 5th grade students will visit campus for a school day presentation  and tour. Can\u2019t make it in May? We\u2019ll also host 6th Grade Orientation on Tuesday, August 11th with additional details being shared in July and August. We look forward to welcoming our new students to the Eyer school community! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eyer Agenda Book Sponsors <\/strong>\u2013 The cost to produce Student Agenda Books continues to be significantly higher than years past. In an effort to prevent this increase from taking away from other critical student focused work we are seeking sponsorships in order to defer the significant cost increase. Any local business that is interested in supporting Eyer in the production of our 26-27 Student Agenda Books can complete the following26-27 Eyer Agenda Book Sponsor Form<\/a> and help us to ensure that these critical time management tools continue to remain in the hands of our students. Boys Basketball Open Gym \u2013 <\/strong>Any male student-athlete currently in 6th or 7th grade who is interested in trying out for the 26\u201327 Eyer Boys Basketball Team is invited to participate in upcoming Eyer Boys Basketball Team Open Gym sessions. The open gym sessions will take place from 2:45PM through 4:30 PM on May 14 and May 28. Students who plan to participate must pick up an EPSD Intramural Activities Consent Form in the Eyer Main Office. A completed form must be brought with the student athlete to each session. Students are not permitted to participate in an open gym without a completed EPSD Intramural Activities Consent Form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EHS Cheerleading Summer Camp<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 The Emmaus High School Cheerleading program is hosting a Youth Summer Cheer Camp from June 15th through the 19th for student athletes in grades 1 to 8. Additional details can be found via the link in the heading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPSD Education Foundation 8th Grade Yard Signs<\/strong><\/a>\u2013  Last call for 8th grade yard signs! The East Penn Education Foundation is offering personalized yard signs to celebrate your 8th grader\u2019s transition from Eyer Middle School to Emmaus High School, but the deadline to order is May 12th, so don\u2019t wait! Spring Athletics <\/strong>\u2013 The Spring Athletic Season is in full swing! Information about upcoming competitions can be found on the EHS Athletics Schedule Website<\/a>. We wish all of our spring student-athletes the best of luck as they kick off their season!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SteelStacks Sensory Friendly Film Series<\/strong><\/a>\u2013 The Sensory Friendly Family Film Series returns to Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas from May 13th through August 19th with all screenings being FREE to attend! The Sensory Friendly Family Film Series is designed to create a welcoming and comfortable experience for all families. Talking, walking, and stimming are permitted, the lights are dimmed but remain on, film volume is lowered, and previews are skipped. Families with special dietary needs are also welcome to bring their own food. Interested families should reserve their free tickets via the link above and an image with the full schedule can be found via the following Sensory Friendly Family Film Series Graphic<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math 24<\/strong>\u2013 We meet us every Tuesday in Room 632. It\u2019s a great chance to sharpen your math skills, challenge yourself, and have fun with friends. All skill levels are welcome\u2014come give it a try!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homework Club- <\/strong>Homework Club meets after school Tuesdays and Thursdays in Mrs. Bealer\u2019s room, room 115. Come and get your homework done in a quiet place from 2:30 \u2013 4pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Sign up on the sign up sheet outside of Mrs. Bealer\u2019s room, room 115, and Mrs. Ervin\u2019s room, room 633.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Girls on the Run<\/strong>\u2013 Please remember to sign up for the late bus and meet in Ms. Graham\u2019s room after school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6th Grade Drama Club<\/strong> \u2013 Want to boost your confidence, learn acting skills, and have a blast? Join the 6th Grade Drama Club! No experience is required, just bring your energy and excitement. You\u2019ll make friends, discover your inner star, and get ready for future theatre opportunities. Drama Club meets in room 503 on Thursdays. Drama Club: Where 6th graders become STARS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chess Club<\/strong> \u2013 Join us if you love chess and want to play or learn how to.  All levels welcome! We will meet on Thursdays after school in room 650.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Club <\/strong>\u2013 Students interested in learning the art of crochet in a fun, welcoming space can do so after school on Tuesdays in room 610. Whether you\u2019re a beginner or already know a few stitches, you\u2019ll create projects you can be proud of. To join, pick up a permission slip in the Guidance Office. We are always accepting fiber donations if any family has yarn to spare. Donations could be brought to the Main Office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four Square Club<\/strong> \u2013 The Eyer Four Square Club meets after school on Thursdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multicultural Club<\/strong> \u2013 Celebrate diversity by learning about and sharing traditions, cultures, and perspectives from around the world on Thursdays in room 111<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading Olympics Team<\/strong> \u2013 Love to read? Want to discuss books and play some fun trivia games? Then you should join the Reading Olympics Club! We meet two or three times a month and will be preparing for a regional competition at the end of the school year. You can read as much or as little as you like, so come on and get in on the fun! Ready to join? Sign up outside Room 636.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walking Club<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Stop by the Main Office to sign up and pick up a permission slip to walk off campus. The club will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RECURRING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chromebooks<\/strong> \u2013 Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they\u2019re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late Bus<\/strong> The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lost & Found<\/strong> \u2013 There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weis4School Rewards Program<\/strong> \u2013 The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis. Eyer families can register their existing Weis Rewards Card to benefit our school by following the link below.<\/a> Please consider taking these simple steps to help support programming for our students!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
