It is our largest PAWS fundraiser of the year! All proceeds from the event go directly toward supporting our PAWS program and providing meaningful activities and events for our students. Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office by noon on Tuesday, September 8th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meet the Teacher Night<\/strong>\u00a0– The Eyer Meet the Teacher Night will be held on September 2nd, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This event provides parents and guardians with an opportunity to meet their child’s teachers and gain insight into the middle level instructional program. A detailed schedule for the evening is available via the\u00a0Meet the Teacher 2026 Schedule Document<\/a>. Below is a basic summary of the evening\u2019s schedule. Historically, meet the teacher night is a very well attended event at Eyer. Subsequently, we kindly ask that attendees follow this schedule to ensure there is space for all interested families to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meet the Teacher Night Community Resource Fair<\/strong>\u00a0– Families are encouraged to attend our annual Meet the Teacher Night Community Resource Fair, beginning at 5 PM in the Cafeteria and Commons and continuing throughout Meet the Teacher Night. The fair will feature representatives from a variety of community organizations that provide resources and services to support students and families throughout the Lehigh Valley. Families are welcome to visit with participating organizations at any point during the evening. Finally, as part of the Community Resource Fair, families are also encouraged to attend one of two\u00a0JOSHWAY Digital Diet Workshops<\/a>, offered from 5 PM to 6 PM and 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Auditorium. This interactive presentation will provide practical strategies to help families develop a healthier and more intentional relationship with technology, better understand the impact of screen time, and create greater balance with technology at home. A summary of all of the Community Resource Fair participants can be found via the\u00a0Meet the Teacher 2026 Schedule Document<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n RECURRING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Chromebooks<\/strong> \u2013 Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they\u2019re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Late Bus<\/strong> The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lost & Found<\/strong> \u2013 There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Weis4School Rewards Program<\/strong> \u2013 The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis.
