Good morning Eyer! It is August 31st and it is Day 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Band\/Orchestra\/Chorus<\/strong>– All 7th and 8th grade chorus members will report to the auditorium 9th period for chorus.  All band members will report to the band room 9th period for band.  All orchestra members will report to the weight room 9th period for orchestra.  If you are a 7th or 8th grader in both chorus and orchestra, you will report to orchestra.  If you are a 7th or 8th grader in both band and chorus you will report to band.  Band and orchestra members will need their instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7th Grade Mum Fundraiser<\/a> <\/strong>– Eyer\u2019s 7th grade is hosting a mum flower coupon fundraiser to help support their fall field trip to New York City! Each $7 coupon is redeemable for one 9-inch pot of hardy mums at Lehigh Valley Home and Garden Center. Purchases may be credited toward a specific 7th-grade student to help offset that student\u2019s trip costs or designated for the 7th Grade General Fund, which helps provide financial assistance to students who may need support participating in school trips. Mum coupons may be purchased online through the Eyer Mum Sale Cheddar Up or using a paper order form, which all 7th-grade students will receive during the first week of school. All orders and payments will be due by 7:45 AM on Friday, September 4. Coupons will be distributed between September 9 and September 14 and may be redeemed at Lehigh Valley Home and Garden Center, 4220 Crackersport Road, Allentown, PA<\/a>. Mums should be picked up by October 4 to ensure the best selection. Thank you for supporting our 7th-grade students and helping make their New York City field trip a memorable experience! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EYER MIDDLE SCHOOL PICTURE DAY<\/strong> – Get ready to smile! Eyer Middle School Picture Day is Friday, September 11, 2026.<\/strong> Families can prepay online<\/strong> at christmascitystudio.com\/vieworder<\/strong> using school code EYER26<\/strong>. Prepaying is quick and easy, and it ensures your order is ready to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PAWS Pool Party<\/strong>– Our PAWS pool party will be held on Thursday, September 10th. It is our largest PAWS fundraiser of the year! All proceeds from the event go directly toward supporting our PAWS program and providing meaningful activities and events for our students. Please consider donating using this link<\/a> to help make this event a success. Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office by noon on Tuesday, September 8th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet the Teacher Night Community Resource Fair<\/strong> – Families are encouraged to attend our annual Meet the Teacher Night Community Resource Fair, beginning at 5 PM in the Cafeteria and Commons and continuing throughout Meet the Teacher Night. The fair will feature representatives from a variety of community organizations that provide resources and services to support students and families throughout the Lehigh Valley. Families are welcome to visit with participating organizations at any point during the evening. Finally, as part of the Community Resource Fair, families are also encouraged to attend one of two JOSHWAY Digital Diet Workshops<\/a>, offered from 5 PM to 6 PM and 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Auditorium. This interactive presentation will provide practical strategies to help families develop a healthier and more intentional relationship with technology, better understand the impact of screen time, and create greater balance with technology at home. Meet the Teacher Night<\/strong> – The Eyer Meet the Teacher Night will be held on September 2nd, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This event provides parents and guardians with an opportunity to meet their child’s teachers and gain insight into the middle level instructional program. A detailed schedule for the evening is available via the Meet the Teacher 2026 Schedule Document<\/a>. Below is a basic summary of the evening\u2019s schedule. Historically, meet the teacher night is a very well attended event at Eyer. Subsequently, we kindly ask that attendees follow this schedule to ensure there is space for all interested families to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
